Not sure what goes on here at night since it’s set up like a massive dance club. Dj, stage and all. The place is HUGE! Even the women’s restroom is larger then many restaurants. I probably would not come here at night personally.

My waiter she was very nice and helpful she was always there when we needed her. I didn’t like where the hostess seated me but I was able to change my table so that was a plus. Overall great location good food and clean atmosphere.

My family and I had an excellent time at Boil Bay Seafood City! We went here to celebrate my brother’s birthday. I ordered the 1/2lb seafood boil with crab legs and shrimp and it was amazing! The seasoning is so flavor and has a kick but not too overpowering. The atmosphere had great music and the vibe was laid back. Our server Salam (sp?) was nice and attentive .They even played Happy Birthday music for my brother and gave him a dessert. It was awesome and probably the best seafood I’ve ever had in Virginia Beach! We enjoyed it and we will be back!

A hidden treasure! We stopped by Boil Bay for a quick lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, presentation of food, and especially our amazing waitress, Kee! Unlike some of the other boil places I’ve been to, our food came in a bag on top of a firm plate. It was easy to enjoy the delicious food without making a complete mess. We had and enjoyed crab legs, oysters, and shrimp. The crab legs were juicy and cracked perfectly to allow easy access to the meat. We tried the painkiller and passion fruit margarita recommended by the amazing Kee. Kee was a delight, gave honest food and drink recommendations, and actually seemed happy to be there. Service like that is rare these days. We will definitely return.

The food was good. My husband went to order King crab which is on the menu and the waitress told us in the 2 months she’d been there they had never had king crab, that was a disappointment since he chose to go there before of it. If they haven’t had it in months it could be marked off on the menus.

Best shellfish dinner I have had in years. Not much to say, service great, food was great had the Combo C with crab legs and double portion of head off shrimp with spicy boil bay sauce(recommended by a coworker). My wife had her fill of shrimp and extra sausage with garlic butter. The potatoes were excellent corn was okay, but I’m not a super big fan of corn. Definitely coming back and recommending this place to my family and friends.

The seafood here is excellent! Literally EVERYTHING was delicious. Even the French fries were impressive!! I had fried oysters and they were so good I ordered more. My daughter had the catfish, hubby and SIL had crawfish, crab, shrimp and oysters. My toddler had kid plate of chicken strips. Needless to say we did not have leftovers. My only suggestion would be to please pay more attention to drinks. We had to ask for refills but honestly it wasn’t horrible just a wave and that was it. The best part of the experience was we ordered LOTS of food and paid less than 200. For seafood, that was great. Also, the atmosphere was so fun!! Perfect spot for date night.

Found a big piece of hair in the potatoes that came with the crab legs. Called the restaurant and spoke to a manager named Cidney who said I can come in to get a refund but when I went to the restaurant she wasn’t working and another manager named Tae wanted to call Cidney. After the phone call she said where is the food and I told her there was no mention of bringing the food otherwise I would have brought it but she said Cidney said she did. I tried to explain to this new manager that there was no mention of bringing the food and asked if I could speak to Cidney or a higher up manager which she refused to do and only offered half the credit. When I mentioned making sure I would write a review about this experience she then took my phone number and said we will further look into it. When I asked her how you spell her name she refused to give it to me got nervous and walked away.
