Place is really small and tight so if you don’t go early, you’re waiting a while. I love boiling point and always order their beef or korean bean paste and get vermicelli and rice. Yes it’s a lot but so . It’s next to Snowy Village so I go there for dessert to balance the spice from the hotpot. I usually get medium as my spice level and add spice from their spice tray.

The individual hot pots here make it a must visit for any fans of Chinese cuisine. At this point it’s one of my favorite restaurants, enough that I go nearly every week. There are many options and what you get is absolutely stuffed with ingredients. I recommend the appetizers such as spicy tofu or holy cow, and miso or beef hot pot. Just know the this is an extremely popular place in a small room, so good luck getting a table during peak hours without waiting at least an hour.

I usually a love this place and would come here for lunch every week but I feel like lately the service and food is just horrible. When we first came into the shop, we missed our time by a couple minutes and the server greeted us with an eye roll saying that we should have been here earlier. She had a horrible attitude while she gave us a new number. After we got our food, we realized that our pots that we usually get got a new recipe and this was not updated on the photos on the wall. The menu change caught us by surprise but it was fine, until I opened one of the clams in my pot and it spilled black sand. The clam was so spoiled that it was black and full of sand, and keep in mind this clam was boiling in my pot and contaminating my whole pot. We told the server and they fortunately took the price off our check but I still think this is does not fit the “excellent” food safety rating they have.

Very disappointed that this is actually a taiwanese establishment because the service is just so bad. It took them about 20 minutes before asking us for our orders today. The soup of their house special is not that tasty, and i’m not sure why but the one in chinatown is always better. Better go to the Seattle Boiling Point next time.

Waited for a real long time last time visited with my friend, was gonna do facing east but they’re only open for Togo so we got a number and waited for over thirty mins, anyway, we got seated and had table serviced, the waiter was nice but waitress wasn’t that patient, she looks weary and needed some rest. She showed no wish to answer my simple question and was getting tired of it. I wasn’t mean I just had no idea their pots came with drinks, if this hurt her feelings, I apologize.
