Boka is a well-known Korean chicken destination in East Village. At this newly-opened uptown branch, they’re carrying the same level of deliciousness with sleeker ambiance and quite impressive service compared to the one in downtown.

Boka is well known in the East Village for offering deliciously prepared Boka Korean Fried Chicken and other Korean specialties. Their menu features a variety of menu options including soups, salads, and hot entrees, as well as all your favorite Korean food entrées. At Boka, they pride themselves in using only the highest quality and freshest ingredients in the preparation of all their dishes. While their prices are modest, the quality of the food is rich, with each dish bursting with a well seasoned blend of flavors! Come in and enjoy the warmly lit dining room and casual décor that makes Boka a great place to eat in, or order online to satisfy your food cravings!

The most mediocre Korean food I’ve ever tasted. Everything lacked flavor. The kimchi friend rice was so bland. The chicken wings were flavorless and barely had any meat. Definitely a waste of time and money.

Best Korean Friend Chicken wings I’ve had in NYC in a long long time. Ordered Spicy + Garlic Soy flavored wings + seafood pancake. The wings are out of the world!! As a long time resident of UWS, I am pleased to welcome an authentic K Fried Chicken to the block and quality is 100% – punchy level of spiciness and spices and flavor on point.

DROP EVERYTHING AND COME EAT THIS CHICKEN. Was excited to have an authentic Korean Fried Chicken restaurant here on the UWS—But this blew my mind. Hands down the best Korean Chicken place in NYC. You cannot go wrong here! I loved the spicy and my husband ate the soy garlic and we both thought we won! Met the owner tonight and he couldn’t have been nicer. Support this local business—you’ll be so happy you did!!!!!

Went to Boka and the sushi place that now they are joined. Awful experience. We wait for food after seating 1 hr and 20 min. they bearely cleaned the table before us sitting. after 1 hr and 20 min we got fried chicken that was good but the sushi was dry, poor quality and first time in my life they did not bring wasabi or ginger. they gave us tiny amount fo soy sauce. 8 pieces of sushi with 1 roll 40$. it is not all. when we pay the bill, sushi was 45$, oop! according to them did not update the menu yet.the waitress was working hard running between tables. Only one person, unfair to her too. Since we wait like other people, so long the brought us an other glass of wine. does not change the message, 80% tossed in trash food.
