Upon seeing the monstrous wood fired oven, you know you are in for a serious pizza. We had proscuito and calebrese on one pizza we ordered. Tremendous. Beautiful color, chew and char on a crust that proofs for 36 hours. Thin enough to fold, but sturdy enough to hold up the toppings. So much flavor comes through from the fire and smoke of the oven. You can tell the dude man who was running the front of the house has serious love for the place. Very sincere, very authentic. This is not a whatever pizza joint. Its one of those restaraunts that is more than the sum of its parts. This place has vision and heart and you see it, feel it and taste it.

The food is great but it is hard to get a hold of them when trying to order take out. Also, cash only. I went a few days ago and forgot to take cash, so I used their ATM and was charged double the fee.

Best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles . Al’s customer service is second to none and he will walk you through the menu so you get a dish that will make the experience one of a kind. Prices are reasonable and the wine selection compliments the various pasta, meat, and pizza dishes. Highly recommend

Food is really good. I’ve never had anything that was not good. The customer service last Friday was tops. They kept checking to make sure we had everything. We had the Chilian Sea Bass that was cooked with a crunch and inside was moist and buttery. Also, the pork chop plate was cooked correctly and was browned and moist. The sausage pasta was comparable to what you find in Italy. We ended with pear baked on puff pastry and served with vanilla ice cream served warm. Three of us shared the dessert which was really good and a great ending.
