Bombas is normally a food truck but I’m so glad they have expanded into a brick and mortar restaurant! Food is amazing! Staff is friendly and the place is clean and inviting. Everything I’ve had from here has been stellar, they even carry local ice cream that’s really good!

The first time I went everything was delicious. When I went today I was disappointed. The spicy bbq beans had too much bbq sauce and it was super thick. The greens were a little too salty. Lastly, the coleslaw had no flavor and was dry. The ribs were ok but they were not the best this time either. I feel like I wasted my money this go round. But the portions are good and the gentleman working the register is very pleasant and knowledgeable about the food and specials they have.

From the outside this place may not look like somewhere you’d stop, and even when you walk in it’s pretty no-frills. The food is outstanding though. I’ve tried many menu items and have yet to find something that wasn’t delicious and made with care. Staff are always friendly and helpful as well. This place is a must stop for BBQ lovers.

I’ve dropped in and ordered in twice. First time it was pulled pork sandwich and brisket tacos. Second time it was rib tips and smoked chicken tacos. The rib tips were juicy..fall off the bone tender. The bbq sauce was fantastic…Tangy and rich. Kudos to Bombas. Give them a try! You don’t be disappointed

Delicious. Friendly staff. These things are not as easy to come by in dining after the pandemic. Labor is hard to come by for so many businesses. My take out order was prepared quickly. Brisket Taco’s are so very good!! As I was there I was also joking about taking in the delicious odor!! Win, win!! Highly recommended and I can see myself as a regular customer. They have a food truck as well but uncertain of its schedule, sorry. Enjoy your dining experience!!

I am rating the side dish. The Mac and cheese was pretty terrible. I LOVED the brisket sandwich. But they won’t allow you to only order a sandwich. I have called twice now to ask only told no you have to get a sandwich and a side. I don’t feel like trying any of the other sides and I have a friend who’s family recently when and same experience AMAZING BBQ but not so good sides.

Checked out the new brick and mortar location on Portage Road tonight. This is the St. Louis rib dinner, which comes with two sides. The mac and cheese is excellent, and the fries were good but could have been in the fryer a bit longer. You can get your ribs dry, spicy, or sweet, and I liked the tang of the sweet sauce. We could easily pull the bones out, the meat was that tender. They smoke on-site, and you can taste that in the meat. I’m planning to return for the brisket next time!

Great food. We had the Super Nachos, Smokehouse Brisket Quesadilla and Fried Ice Cream. Everything was delicious. Service was fast and efficient. Staff was very friendly. We will be back. Highly recommended.
