We’ve been trying a bunch of different Indian food places all over Sac. So far, least impressed with Bombay. We ordered the chicken korma, chicken vindaloo, garlic basil naan and the vegetable samosa. The korma was missing creaminess, the vindaloo was mostly potato and the naan was not well seasoned. Oh, and bring cash because they will ask you to tip in cash, not on card.

Great food and great service. This is an upscale but not too expensive restaurant. The staff cares about the food and the service. With a party of 8 we got 6 different dishes and everyone was very happy. They actually give you the spice when you ask for it, and the flavor of everything was incredible. Clear your sinuses, cure what ails you, come in and enjoy a classy, tasty meal, and you’ll end up with more food than you paid for. Very happy with this experience.

Since moving to Sacramento I’ve eaten at a few Indian food restaurants, Bombay Bar and Grill is hands down the best I’ve tried. It’s possibly the best food I’ve tried in Sacramento, period. Bombay is not afraid of flavor, and knows how to appropriately season their food. I really cannot recommend this place enough, and I can’t wait to go back and try more off their menu.
