Best Indian food in Seattle metropolitan area. We have been a regular here for past few years and love this restaurant. Service is sometimes slow but the taste makes you wait happily. Also, service time has improved a lot lately. We ordered food from here on my son’s birthday and everyone loved the food. Simply best.

My husband and I are on the adventurous side, and the Bombay House did not disappoint. While we like to venture into new dining territory, we definitely didn’t know anything about ordering Indian food! We were pleasantly introduced to the menu by knowledgeable staff who gave excellent suggestions and helped us navigate our first experience. The food was light, flavorful, and beautiful. Try the yogurt drinks for an amazing fusion of fruit and creaminess! My husband usually prefers meat at his evening meal but this food impressed him. We will be returning for seconds!

Vegetarians & Vegans rejoice, Bombay House in Bellevue has a lunch buffet and it’s delicious. The establishment is clean and the staff friendly. It’s certainly nondescript from the exterior, you might walk right past it and not notice the sign, but trust me it’s worth the drive. My one issue is I’m not a connoisseur of Indian food and it would be helpful for them to label which dishes are vegan. Other than that it’s a solid four stars.

This is my favorite Indian lunch buffet in Bellevue. The options are good and I’m always more than satisfied afterward. If you are turned off by the idea of vegetarian/vegan only, then I challenge you to try the food here and see if you even notice of the lack of meat. It’s so savory and tasty!

Our family had been frequenting Bombay House for 3 years. We make the 30 minute drive from Seattle to support a fabulous vegan/vegetarian establishment. Unfortunately, today we arrived to find they are now serving meat (meaning less veg options). So disappointing! The food was good, but nothing outstanding to make the drive worthwhile, now that there are fewer options. And if thats not enough the bill totaled $46(no drinks) for myself, adult daughter and twin 3 year olds. When I questioned why the total was so much, I was told the boys cost $7.95 each. I told the cashier that they ate a piece in nan and 3 cucumbers he offered to reimburse me $3. Sad, Sad, Sad

My husband was very skeptical about trying a vegetarian restaurant, as he is a meat and potatoes kind of guy. But I convinced him to try Bombay House with me, and neither of us were disappointed. Everything we have tried at Bombay House is delicious. Their lunch buffet offers a good variety of dishes, and we loved everything. You can tell it is homemade and fresh, because it is so flavorful and well balanced. The naan is served straight out of the oven. We will keep going back, it is now one of our favorite ethnic places!

My family used to frequent this place since last two years and literally even got to know the wonderful chefs that make the lovely naan. This was until recently, the staff has changed for the worse. You will now find a bunch of arrogant and extremely rude people who think customers do a favor by visiting them. Inexcusable behavior.. We have seen this place twist and change their menu to stay in business but the staff warmth always made up for any issues.

Drove by by accident at dinner time, saw they were advertising “gluten free” [I am gluten intolerant] so we tried it out, and we were very happy. We [Europeans] ordered “Medium Spicy” and it was hot enough for us — this is what I would have considered “Medium Spicy” ordering at any other restaurant. But the gentleman from India next to us complained that it was not spicy enough for him [I not sure how hot he ordered it.] So, if you are from India better discuss with them in advance how hot is hot! They also serve it “Hot” and “Very Hot” so everyone can be happy. This restaurant is just down the hill from us, so I am very happy to find a very good restaurant serving gluten free!

Delicious lunch buffet! Everything that is vegan labeled with a (v) so you are able to try all kinds of delicious dishes without worry, although the whole restaurant is vegetarian! A pleasant surprise to find. Nice atmosphere and welcoming hosts! Oh, and endless naan!
