Had been here on a Tuesday afternoon. They have a good ambience. Food portions are generous. They were very short staffed it was just one lady running around handling the food preparation, serving, hostess all in one. Due to which we had to wait for our food nearly an hour. We hope they add more staffs.

1st time here (at night), was referred here by someone for a good Latin place to go to on a Saturday. They weren’t wrong. Here’s my take; $15 door cover (everyone) $20 to park in front, $250 bottle charge for the 750ml. The pluses, all the servers (and other staff) we encountered were very friendly, but to me, the actual “bottle service” lacked. While they do bring you the bottle with the lights and flair, they don’t even open the bottle for you, nor make your (1st) drinks, when suggested to tip 20+% I’d expect more, this again isn’t taking away from the ladies, it just wasn’t a service that was provided, we also were unable to order any drinks from our table and had to go back to the bar for (shots). The music (DJ) was good, but the sound system lacks badly. It’s either cranked up to loud and sounds distorted half the time, or the speakers are about to be blown. We nonetheless had a great time, and their tacos outside were tasty, but the birria was missing the most important ingredient… the birria sauce/ dip. We’d definitely return here, and with some slight tweaks this place could easily be 5+ stars.✌

Wow, the horchata is one of the best ones I’ve had in awhile! They have the right ratio of condense milk to rice water, with a “hint” of cinnamon. If you don’t like cinnamon, this is not a drink for you. It’s a refreshing drink for a hot summer evening, and I appreciate that it was not overly sweet. The fried fish was delicious as well. A little over cooked, which can be expected as it is deep fried. It did lack flavor, so with the right seasoning or sauce, this dish can be greatly elevated. It paired well with the corn tortillas and fresh veggies overall. I’d definitely return to try some of their other seafood dishes and have another serving of the horchata.

I live around a five minute walk from this place, never been there until a couple of nights ago. There are not expressions enough to let you know the amazing time we had there, the food is fantastic (ask for the quesabirria tacos, and thank me later); but even more fantastic/fabulous/incredible (by far) is the service.

This was our first time at Bombón in Sarasota. We were invited by our friends to attend karaoke night. Let me start of by telling you that the restaurant was super clean and nicely set up and decorated. Our server was Alain. He was awesome, he welcomed us to the restaurant and immediately made his recommendations which we greatly appreciated since we have never been there before. I started with the mango margarita which by the way was delicious and my husband and I both ordered the famous quesabirria tacos . These tacos were delicious. We also tried their fried ice cream that did not disappoint!!! We will certainly be back but next time with our daughters to enjoy the tacos and family karaoke. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed with the hospitality, service and food!!
