So.. when I was driving towards this place, I was confused as to why I was driving towards a bunch of offices. I saw their store in the middle and understood. I went in when it was after the lunch rush so it was just me and another customer in there. I have to say, the sandwiches here are quite delicious! I had it with a soup and it paired nicely. Next time I visit, I will have to try their other options.

This place needs more reviews. I got the Italian sandwich and it was perfect. A generous portion of fresh meats and the ciabatta was crunchy but soft. Fair prices too, considering other places are raising their prices.

Best sandwich shop I’ve found in the area. Two things make it special here… the bread is incredible and baked in house. Then there is the picante sauce for the spicy sandwiches. I also love their lentil salad on the side. A little out of the way in Rockville, but worth getting over to them. They also have a location in Columbia which is where I discovered them years ago. Really happy they opened a Rockville location.

Know owner from the Columbia location and just met his son. Who gave me a free expresso. When I said I was going to bon fresco for lunch when I worked in Columbia we had to take two cars because 10 people would want to go. BTW: Google Maps does NOT know how to find Bon Fresco Rockville. I was told by management that they hear it constantly and called Google 100 times. But you can’t call Google. If you Google a phone number for Google in a Google search it usually gives you a fradulent number in India or Moroco. Scammers. It’s just that India scammers pay off the police and Google does not take down Googled false numbers even for Google. This sounds like the Department of Redundancy Department, doesn’t it? So on Google Maps when you are 50 yards from Bon Fresco, it is a right turn or you can not even see bon fresco. Google maps say turn left at this location 50 yards from bon fresco. You have to take a right or you will drive around the back of the building to a dead end. If you do this just listening to Google Maps then you are on the other side of a C shaped building where bon fresco is on the other side of the building. So go back around the building the way you came, do not turn right now when Google Maps say to do so; stay in the same parking lot and just go straight or curve left until you see bon fresco on the left. It is separate from the building all by itself in the inside of the “C” Very modern design, looks all stainless steel with umbrellas outside.

I’ve wrote a review for the Bon Fresco and Columbia before and there’s not much more to say about the one in Rockville. I’m glad they kept the same consistency over here. Their menu seems to be a little smaller but they still have my picante sandwich and that’s all that I ask. Service was super friendly and they did a great job designing the place.
