I ordered the fried shrimp plate with my 2 sides of hush puppies and “fries”… the fries are cut potatoes and deep fried like some breakfast potatoes. Definitely not fries. That was misleading. I also got the half fish($1 extra) and shrimp ($1 extra)plate fired with hush puppies and coleslaw. I asked for an extra tartar sauce. I was charged 1.50 for a 2oz portion cup. I totally understand everything is made from scratch but really??? The portions were DEFINITELY not worth the $47.51 that I paid. I also got the Boudin egg rolls. Nothing to brag about. They were 2 different sizes. $7.00 for 2. Menu doesn’t say what kind of potato is used for fries. Just says fries.

It’s delicious, no doubt about it. Their fried shrimp is very lightly battered, which I prefer. The fried green tomato and shrimp po boy was also very tasty. Boudin egg rolls are DELICIOUS. The Cowboy Crack is so spicy, it’s almost painful.

What an amazing place to get seafood. The crawfish are some of the best I’ve ever had in the city. They are big and clean and so darn tasty. In the 5 lbs we had, there were no dead heads, sticks or twigs. No diesel dirt either. I can highly recommend the crawfish here. Now given they are a bit more expensive here, they are certainly worth it. We’ve also had the fried catfish poboys, the boils shrimp and a number of their specials. All have been good. I look forward to eating there again soon. If you stop in, tell em Bart sent ya. 🙂

Well done boiled crawfish & shrimp. Seasoned well, nice spice level, & not over cooked. Corn, potatoes, & sausage not just an after thought like most places. Don’t mind spending money at a family run business where they are there & obviously they care about what they do. Thanks you guys brought my parents and they loved it. Appreciate the hospitality Steven

The boiled crawfish are seasoned and boiled well- easy to peel. I tried a few other items such as the fried shrimp plate and the fried green tomatoes; the latter not an item seen at many like places. Here’s my take on the fried green tomatoes: they were sliced very thin and were on the small side but fried well. The sauce that topped them was basically Creole mustard which I felt wasn’t a good choice due to to the over powering vinegar content for that type mustard. The fried shrimp were tasty and fried well with a light batter. The fried potatoes that accompanied the dish were mediocre. The tarter sauce was good but the dipping sauce that came with the boiled crawfish was basically a mixture of ketchup and mayo, which wasn’t impressive in my opinion. All of the food was cooked fresh and served hot. The counter waitress was very friendly and accommodating. All n all this is a place I would recommend. The only thing I would point out is that for what you be get, it’s a bit on the pricey side as compared to other like seafood establishments.

Cozy neighborhood spot with warm customer service and delicious dishes. Clean, comfortable, and insanely good food! Perfect for Saints Sundays, boxing matches, or brunch with your crew. This newly renovated seafood restaurant has it all. Each item I’ve had off the menu was a foodie experience-full of flavor and made from quality ingredients. Plus, they serve beer and original daquiris! The young owners stay on sight and care deeply about their products and their customers. Southern hospitality and homegrown crawfish from Louisiana ponds make this seafood spot a must try! Not only will your belly be full and your taste buds delighted, a meal here supports local businesses and young entrepreneurs. Needless to say, I highly recommend!!!

First time swinging into this spot, I gotta say the Brisket poboy I had was dam good, super flavorful ! The staff are very polite and hospitable. I tryed a some of the boiled crawfish as well and it was seasoned very well , they definitely hit the sweet spot with the heat, and they peeled beautifully as well.
