Located in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, Bonchon brings fast, hot, and flavorful on a new classic. Their take on Korean fried chicken is extra crispy chicken breading with your choice of either spicy sauce (without being ridiculous) or soy garlic (for the faint of heart). We had the 10 piece wings, 5 drumsticks, seasoned fries, and plain fried rice. We are generous eaters and it was too much food for 2, but we wanted to try different things. Everything was perfect. 100% recommend and will be back.

Service and atmosphere were good. The fried chicken was bland with a splash of bbq sauce on top. The chicken was also over fried and definitely wasn’t freshly prepared. The fries were ok. Also over fried. Certainly not Korean chicken as I was led to believe. Great experience though.

I came here twice in a week after discovering it!! The wait time was about 15 – 20 minutes or so and the first time I went with only one another person and the second was with two other people. I ordered the 10 pc sou sauce wings for 16 dollars (not including the rice but it does include radish or another side) and with rice. The wings were AMAZING!! The meat inside was really soft and overall flavorful. Four wings plus the rice was enough to fill me up. I would also recommend their mochi ice cream, it was prepared well and delicious! The staff was really friendly and was there when we needed anything. Plus there were bathroom which were both clean and pretty. Our price at the end was little pricey though. I recommend this branch of Bonchon more than the one in the city near Koreatown. I will come again once i saved up!!

Great Crunchy Chicken! The Spicy is hot, the Regular can use some seasoning or salt & the Soy is very flavorful. The fries are good hot. The chicken fried rice also very good.

3.2.23 – Combo wings and japchae all around solid, but the wings are not consistently good. Sometimes they can be super juicy and other times it can be overcooked or dry.
