If you want to quickly satisfy your craving for crunchy sticky Korean chicken wings, bulgogi or tteokbokki this is the place to go. Food is just ok, nothing spectacular. This is to be expected from a chain fast food type restaurant. If you want homestyle moms and pops authentic Korean cuisine I would go some place else. The seasonal summer Korean bbq sauce wings had a hint of spice which was better than the mild soy garlic ones. The tteokbokkki was a bit spicy Our server was attentive, it wasn’t busy for dine in on a weekday evening. Most patrons did to-go order pick ups. The ambiance of the restaurant is more of a casual fast food type vibe.

I’m from a large metropolitan city to the south of Richmond two states away and was surprised to find this delighful little eatery. Stop in for some unexpected appetizers. Pictured here are the Takoyaki (octopus dumpling) and Shrimp Shumai. While I was intrigued to try both, the shrimp shumai was really good and the octopus was well just what you might expect. The sauce on the shrimp was just right. The presentation of the dumpling was upscale. My party also ordered Udon Noodle Soup which was good on this cooler rainy day. The star of the show was the Chicken fried rice by a land slide. This place was recommended to me because of the fried rice. And it did not disappoint. I’ve never had fried rice like this tasty version. No need to add any sauce because it’s perfect!

Delicious! Chicken was the some crispy….went two days on a row. We had Bulgogi..fried rice…Bulgari tacos..chicken katsu..bone in fried chicken…we not greedy folks…too some yo.ho for later. They have eat.in or take out. You can sit a thr nsr and enjoy a small selection of beers and watch the game. Great customer service too.

Ordered a 20 ct strip meal for $30 only for ALL of the chicken strips to be so over fried that everything inside them was dry and HARD. Not only was it inedible, the food was supposed to last for three days worth of dinners. I just didn’t eat. I used to work at restaurants for a living. From my perspective, what probably happened was the cook dumped a bunch of tenders into the fryer at once, causing the oil temp to drop, so when the timer went off, and the chicken wasn’t done, they probably dropped it back down and just forgot about it. That one mistake cost me $30 and 3 days worth of meals. I hope something gets done about it, because this was one of my favorite restaurants, and now I’m afraid that if I order here, I’ll just go hungry while wasting my money.

Good food as usual, service is nice. And honestly a good value as well. We had 4 drumsticks, 3 sides, and an appetizer with one drink for right at $30, which was plenty for two people (one medium eater, one heavy).

Everything we got was very good, I do have to say if you end up getting the tteokbokki make sure you can take spicy stuff because it’s very spicy. But over all the food was very good. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the prices are very high for the meal we had. But I would definitely recommend you try this place. Kind employees and fast service.

We stopped in here around 8 pm on our way back to our air/bnb from being in Virginia Beach. Our host was amazing and answered any and all questions we had. Kept our drinks refilled and food came out fast. Was very pleased with all we ordered. The Spiceness on the food was on point. If we had one in St. Louis we would eat there all the time!

Service was good, food vs price left alot to be desired. Paid 12$ for three pieces of pork belly uneatable fat, 12$ for 6 pieces of popcorn chicken, hard as a rock, in what was supposed to be their chicken sliders, came away paying 50$ for basically a plate of very overseasoned loaded fries

I eat here somewhat often maybe once or twice out of each month yesterday I ordered a 20pc and i received only 19 pieces the reason I count now is because two months ago they did the same thing I don’t like the customer service when you tell them you didn’t receive one of your wings yesterday the lady had me wait 15 minutes for one wing I felt like for the inconvenience I should been able to get a free drink or something it’s ridiculous it’s like they don’t own up or they feel like people lying I’m sure people in the kitchen make mistakes but it’s also not hard to count to 20 also I asked the lady can them in the back put all soy garlic in one box and my spicy in another they put all my chicken in one box and she gave me another box saying I had to do it myself obviously I asked them to do it that way because all that food wasn’t my food and I didn’t wanna have to separate other people chicken for them and someone people don’t like spicy and don’t want spicy food touching theirs I don’t know the lady name at the register but this happened August 6, 2022 at 7:30pm so who was ever on the register that time I just hate when different people there I get different service when everyone should provide the same service. The food is really good I’ll hate to stop coming there because the workers or because they can’t give me the right about of chicken.

Food is always great!!! I’m a forever fan of Bonchon. Just had the Bulgogi tacos and the Korean Donuts since you all shutdown the Richmond location. Mechanicsville is the closest location to me. You should expand. Chester, maybe Colonial Heights.
