I ordered the japchae, and it was legit and delicious! The noodles were thicker than I’d expect, so probably not the gluten-free glass (thinner) noodles you’d normally get in Korea, but it was pleasant and easy to eat nonetheless. Could have had more depth (sweetness was the most pronounced flavor), but the textures were great and the portions even greater. Almost more than I wanted actually, but great for the price! Satisfied my longing for authentic japchae.

It was ok…I wanted the chicken without all the sauce and they said you can’t get it plain. You have to get it spicy hot or sweet…the place was empty and I went in at 640pm…on a Friday…first visit and I didn’t get a lot of help with knowing what to try. My order was $16 or so. Parking is plentiful and free but shared in a shipping center parking lot.

Do not order the Korean soy-garlic chicken tacos. Genuinely inedible. They use ground chicken instead of actual chicken and they are were very poorly made. Grocery store tacos are better. Ordering this is equivalent to throwing $20 in the trash.

Ordered from DoorDash and while the fries were amazing – the chicken (the whole reason we order here) was terrible. It seemed like it had a totally different batter on it than usual which didn’t hold close to the chicken it was super tough like it was over cooked. Sad that we used some of our monthly takeout budget on this terrible chicken.

I’ve only been to this bonchon twice and both experiences have been less than satisfactory. First time was in 2020, the food and service was awful. I was in the area again so I decided to give it another chance but this time it was even worse. I ordered bibimbap instead this time. How can you serve bibimbap without a fried egg??? I got scraps and pieces of a scrambled egg. The only vegetables in it were mushrooms and carrots. The meat wasn’t even seasoned well and there was a bone in it. The kid up front must’ve been new because he was completely clueless. Worst bibimbap ever, I could’ve just made it myself. I’ll let my friends and family know not to come to this one if they want good food and good service.

The two times I have been here the people working in the front were very friendly. However, the food is awful. I don’t understand why they don’t season the chicken when you order it plain. After a lackluster experience on my first visit, I decided to give it another chance. On both occasions my food did not taste fresh. The fries were hard and stuck together like they had been sitting out for a while. The chicken was dry and bland. For the price you would think the food would at least be good. I could get better chicken from Popeyes for half the cost. The food was actually worst on the second visit and I’m hoping I don’t get sick. Don’t waste your money. I wish I could get a refund.

Ordered 50 wings for Super Bowl Sunday. The Soy Garlic wings were delicious! The three teenagers in the front were very nice and checked on my order immediately. I will definitely be ordering again in the future.
