I had their beef bulgogi tacos, garlic soy and spicy chicken tenders and seasoned fries. Their fries were “seasoned” yet not very flavorful. Everything else made up for that though. The spicy chicken definitely was super spicy (Dont forget to ask for ranch, you’ll need it) with a sweet initial taste and the garlic sou was more on the savory side. The tacos were my favorite though.

Food was pretty solid. They gave us a time then like 15/20 minutes later sent a text and said it was done, wasn’t the right time frame so the food wasn’t warm when we got there. The spicy wings were super spicy. The fries would of been 10/10 if they were hot. Service was good other wise. It was parking right outside. Wasn’t that busy either.

This is the DIRTIEST restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. The tables, booths, windows, and floors were nasty. There were flies all around us while we were eating, I couldn’t even finish my food because I was so grossed out. Service was terrible and food was mediocre at best. Avoid.

The zucchini bites and boneless chicken were crispy, delicious, and filling. Service was great. The place looked clean.

This place has changed, I used to go here as a student not even 8 months ago and everything is different. The food is AWFUL, I had the Japchae which was not only salty but in sauce and another friend got the chicken strips. But those things weren’t strips they were slivers! And on top of that they weren’t crispy, for a friend chicken place they FAILED. how can they order chicken to the the main dish but coleslaw is taking up 50% of the plate. Take a look at previous “strips” others posted compared to this!

Had to see what the hype was about and was not disappointed. Very good service and food ! Chicken had a nice crunch and burn but was good and moist on the inside. Yum ! They did not skimp on the quality and freshness of their chicken & wings. Loved the picled radish. Ramen and Shumai was great as well. Busy popular place and had a bit of wait even though it was a week night.

Staff are very friendly and that is a plus for me. The cola from the fountain was flat, and the waiter gladly changed it to a bottled one. The chicken was CRISPY! If you like super crispy skin, this place is for you. The chicken in breaded.. I don’t know if they bake it then fry it, cuz the inside is tender and juicy. Flavors are very subtle. Garlic sauce on the chicken was sweet and not to garlicky, Tasted so good! But I wish they had more sauce on the chicken and more seasoning. To my personal preference it just need more. The spicy one wasn’t spicy enough for my taste buds. It was mild kinda spicy. I look forward trying more food at this place. The reason I gave it three stars: there wasn’t enough sauce. Second, the fries was served ice cold. Would I come again? Yea.. I would, but I would ask for steaming hot food outta of the kitchen, and would try the chicken strips instead of the wings and drumsticks.

I’ve known about Bonchon for several years but had never eaten there before. I had some friends who raved about how good the chicken is. Unfortunately, my personal experience differed from theirs. I ordered from the University City location. We ordered an assortment of chicken pieces ranging from wings and thighs to so called “boneless” wings. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken had no flavor at all without the sauces. They also do not provide dipping sauces on the side. You can only get sauces if your food is prepared in them. The fries were lukewarm and left a nasty aftertaste in my mouth. I think one visit was enough for me. I can’t recommend Bonchon.

Me and my friends came here to get food for dinner. We sat for over an hour waiting for our food. And my bfs food still hadn’t came. I had to go get food from Tea-Do (which is next door) to get something to eat. The server we had was so nice and he was frustrated with how long the food was taking to come out. I appreciate him because he did his best to keep us happy. Made sure to keep checking on us. But the wait time was not ok. Sitting for almost 1.5 hours for food is not ok at all. Especially since when we walked in it was not busy. I understand that the kitchen may be backed up due to the eagles game happening tonight and maybe everyone is ordering. I’ve come here before and the wait was average. Like 15-20 minutes. Like I said the food was really good. It’s just the wait that kinda made me a bit frustrated. Maybe next time I’ll make to not come when there is a big event.

Waited 45 min for 40 burnt wings and overcooked takoyaki. The waitress started showing us attitude and throwing the check down on our table. Absolutely unbelievable, I’m surprised the manager and chef are allowing such obviously burnt food to come out of the kitchen.
