A perfect pit stop before heading down the mountain! A definite must have! Perfect outdoor lunch spot for a big family with lots of kids who just want to run around wild while parents enjoy some tasty BBQ ribs, tri tip, brisket n pull pork! The BBQ sauce is to die for and the service is just icing on the cake! Thanks for my birthday lunch – it was delish! Opens at 11.30am n its right off the Big Bear Blvd!

My wife and I have been to many places arround the world and had BBQ from different cultures but this place has done it right! Good old-fashioned American style BBQ! From smoked pork ribs to beef brisket, you cant go wrong. Got to try the ‘not just for kids” hand made Mac & cheese. You might meet the owner Ron, he is Hands-On everyday barbecuing meat in the winter snow and beautiful summer months year-round in Big Bear! If you come to try his barbecue, be sure to get there before 2 p.m. as he may run out of food. Also bring him a cold beer, he deserves it!

How can we rate when you’re sold out 15 minutes after opening on Sunday? We (myself my husband and 5 year old daughter) showed up around 11:45. There were 2 Sheriff’s waiting for their order and one truck in the drive thru. After the Sheriffs got their order and the truck pulled forward we were told “ sorry sold out”. I wanted a family feast to feed us a for a few days and was so disappointed we had to find something else. There is no way to order online so how are we supposed to be able to try and support your food?! We just moved up here a week ago and this was a let down.

This place is awesome. We came here 2 years ago and had always wanted to go back again. Decided to take a 90 minute drive to get some BBQ. The owners are so nice, they even opened the toilet for us. The pulled pork is sooooo juicy and the brisket has the perfect mix of fat and lean meat. Hopefully we won’t wait another 2 years to visit!

Hands down some of the best bbq my husband and myself have found in California. We’re from the south and miss southern food something awful and we happened to stop by and grab lunch here and we weren’t disappointed! The pulled pork and Mac n cheese were AMAZING! The service was fantastic and so humble! We will definitely be making trips to big bear more often to get this bbq! So if you’re looking for some good southern food on your time in big bear I highly suggest stopping by!

My daughter and I were sitting in our cabin craving pulled pork. We got onto Google Maps and typed in “pulled pork”. This place came up and boy are we happy it did! They were just getting ready to close, but stayed open to get us lunch. The pulled pork sandwich was AMAZING! We ordered the Mac & Cheese as our side and I can’t believe how delicious it was. You can for sure tell it was home made. We don’t get up to Big Bear often, but next time we do, we will for sure come here!

AMAZING barbecue!! They were so generous with everything and it’s one of the best barbecue I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommended. They don’t have a specific closing time. They close when the food runs out for the day. We were the last customers of the day but they were kind enough to still serve us even though it looked like they were closing down.
