Went here for dinner on a Sunday night. It was quiet and even when the staff was ready to go home, they were extremely helpful and considerate of the customers. The service was amazing, food was good (mad I forgot to take a picture of the appetizers) and the music and dim lights are perfect for a date night.

We wanted a local restaurant for an anniversary celebration… we chose the Bonefish Grill close by, in Bel Air, MD. The hostess was a bit snarky when we first arrived (not their best representative of “first impression” quality), but after we were seated in a more suitable table, our waitress was extraordinary. Our waitress, Emilee B, was personable, kind, answered all our questions about the menu, and served us with excellence. The food was equally great and, when asked if she’d take our picture for our anniversary, treated us to a complimentary dessert. Unexpected. and deeply grateful. We will definitely return …

We sat at the bar Saturday night. The bartenders were very friendly and great to talk to. I’ve been searching for a bar in bel air that can make old fashioned correctly. They definitely make the best smoked old fashioned and i also tried the Jefferson ocean old fashioned and it was awesome. My wife really liked her cosmo. The bar tenders are amazing. Now for the food the bang bang shrimp was great . I got the steak and cake . The steak was ok nothing amazing just ok . The crab cake was so small . Smaller the a ice cream scooper and it smelled and tasted fishy. It was like a frozen one you get at the freezer section of the grocery store. You definitely need to do better on them . Pappas has fresh crab cakes that are amazing. I will come back for the bar tenders and maybe try a burger instead. Try and get some fresh seafood and I’ll try it again.

We were seated right away and our server was very attentive. She made a couple of wine recommendations-which we took and enjoyed. We ordered a couple of appetizers and they were on point. Only negative was I ordered the shrimp skewers and scallops but the shrimp were very over done. Other than that everything was good!

It feels like maybe somewhere around 10 years ago, Bonefish Grill was seen as kind of an upscale place to go for dinner, not that it was expensive or required you to dress up fancy, but the atmosphere was nice and in general a seafood restaurant seems like something that you would want to be a little bit more classy. But as it is right now I found the quality of Bonefish Grill to be quite meddling.

Normally Bonefish Grill food is delicious. However today 7/4/2023 I ordered curbside, and my corn chowder with crab meat soup was terrible tasting. My fries was so few, and the mussels didn’t taste like the usually do. I don’t know if I ordered too close to closing time or what. My order was placed at 918pm, closing time is 10pm. And the last thing is, I called the restaurant because at 945pm, I was still waiting on my order. The person that answered said my order will be ready in a minute, I can come inside. I asked why am I coming inside when I ordered curbside he stated “my curbside person left for the day, but I can bring it out”. Maybe it was the holiday, I don’t know. But I’m very disappointed.

There are few restaurants that seem to encompass everything that any person might want, and do it so masterfully. Bonefish Grill seems to be one of those few locations. I have gone here many times, and each time is nothing short of a 5 Star experience. Waiters and waitresses are nice and friendly, the place always seems to be spotless, and seating is always plentiful. Even if I had to wait 30+ mins, there is nice outside seating for waiting guests. Now to the food: absolutely delicious. Everything I have tried here, from the main dishes both land and sea and their plentiful appetizers, always leaves me full and satisfied. I couldn’t recommend this play more, you simply cannot miss going to this place!
