Update (6/10/23): we ordered one 14” BBQ chicken pizza and one 14” cheese pizza with extra cheese, feta, and meatballs. The pizza were good but they were kind of skimpy on the meat on both pizzas. On the pizza that I ordered extra cheese, did not look like extra cheese at all. Overall, it is still our favorite pizza place!

Always in search for a really good N.Y style pizza and I have to say how pleased I am to have found this place. I love that there are a few locations in Temecula that make N.Y style pizza! Came in for a quick bite, the cheese slice was $3 out the door, what a great price. The décor is of N.Y with a huge background of the Brooklyn bridge. If you’re in the area worth the stop!

Literally THE BEAT PIZZA IN TOWN AND THE WEST COAST!!! The crust is ridiculously good. It’s perfectly crisp yet soft and airy at the same time. It’s hard to explain. Whoever they learned to make pie from taught them right though. It tastes just like the pizza from New York. My boyfriend is a born and raised in Brooklyn New Yorker who takes his pizza seriously. Up until coming here he would just avoid eating pizza here in California. But now that we’ve tried Bongiorno’s we’ve come probably every other day…literally. Maybe not a whole pie every time but atleast a slice and garlic knot. Him being a true New Yorker gets the regular cheese and me being a Californian get the spinach ricotta which is out of this world!!! I have no other way to explain it. It’s so good that I have dreams about it. But seriously if you’re in Temecula don’t even look at these other pizza places because they aren’t even going to come close to the greatness of Bongiorno’s at all!!! Don’t even bother wasting your money anywhere else because trust me you will be disappointed.

The food we ordered from here was delicious. From the croutons in the salad, the salad being crisp and fresh. The pizza we ordered was delicious. The wings we ordered had good flavor and was cooked all the way. The sauces and the ranches were great as well. The staff was very busy but never ignored you. They were very attentive. Very friendly staff.

Ordered and paid for a vegetarian with sausage topping through DoorDash. No sausage topping on pizza. No response from bongiorno after leaving private comment. Phone doesn’t pick up and stay busy . We liked the pizza but have been overcharged. and they did our order wrong. At the least they could refund the topping they did not add. In principle I will not support them again until they clear this up. DoorDash also did not verify the order after taking a few and commission.

If it wasn’t for an Uber driver I met 6 years ago who claimed he was from the east coast, I would have never tried this amazing pizza. I took his word on how it’s the closest to New York pizza and went myself to try this place out and never have I had pizza this good. Decent pie, but a little soggy. Wife n I decided to check out this joint on a Friday night, surprisingly not busy at all. They have about 10 tables inside and a few outside. Nice menu selection with hot subs, appetizers, specialty pies, and desserts, very accomondating. I’m a pepperoni guy, but I stepped outside of my box and added pineapple, to please my wife. Bad choice for my liking, but wife was very pleased. In my opinion, the canned pineapple was what made it soggy. The pie was good, no doubt, but when I go back, and I will, I’ll try it without pineapple. The oven smell hits you when you walk in, you’re like, “oh yeah, it’s about to be on”! Major downer, NO BEER!!
