Ordered large 2 meat meal. Give me a break. $23 for ribs and pork, and the ribs were scraps. Pics attached. One, there wasn’t even anything to eat. Maybe 3 bites off all ribs, and that’s it. Can’t believe that. Fries weren’t great either a few looked they cooked for an hour. Do better! Bonos used to rock, now…. just sad.

Service was excellent. My coworker and I stopped in for lunch for a fast bite that wasn’t the usual fast food. We were not disappointed. I ordered the King burger, which is a huge party on top of pulled smoked pork. Side of potato salad, and wow. First time having this sandwich as I usually get a meat combo, brisket, etc. This burger should win contests.

Food is amazing everything taste fresh like it was just made. Mac and cheese was really fresh. Everything was perfect except the gal who was working the front counter April 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM was rude as he’ll. Not friendly had an attitude throwing my order on the counter walking off to the walk up window. Tried conversation with her please thank you with zero response. Other than that everything else was great. It’s to bad this was my first time in their and had questions about the meat, etc, and she acted as if she was annoyed by helping me and answering my questions. You can read through all of my reviews I don’t ever bring up service unless it was bad. I’m sure this is just an isolated incident and wouldn’t think or should reflect the business as a whole. This was just my personal experience on my first time in their. This is the one off Bowden Rd. In Jacksonville.

This is, by far, the best Bono’s in Jacksonville. The waitresses are the friendliest and the food is the best! We tried the chicken wings and the chopped pork platter. The chicken wings have a nice smoke flavor and are rather large. The chopped pork was juicy and tender. We tried the fried okra, and it was spot on along with their sweet potatoes, baked beans, and coleslaw.

Wanted a turkey salad..got a chicken fingers salad instead. They no longer have turkey salads!?! No egg,no tomatoe, just lettuce cucumber and a bell pepper in shape of Mickey mouse face that my son begged me not to eat . Ranch may be made on house,but my son turned his nose up to it..just don’t seem it was worth the money. I could of made the same for way less…if that turkey was on it, it might have been worth it. Ok 2 years later got the ribs and they were pure raw. I love my meat red but these ribs were no heat at all..nasty..I’m officially done with this location after this.
