Hubby and I had a bento box and terriyaki tofu. Both were delicious. The broth soup was also very flavorful and not overly salty. Service was efficient and timely. Waitress asked to refill drinks before glasses were totally empty. We’d definitely co.e here again to try other menu items.

If heaven were a sushi spot on earth it would be Bonsai 2. I have been coming here for years and I swear it just keeps getting better. From the delicious, fresh, incredible rolls, to the salads and app, Bonsai never disappoints. I’m seriously addicted to this place and would recommend it for takeout, date night, lunch, brunch or all of the above! If you love good sushi, you will fall head over heels for Bonsai.

We have been coming here since we moved to the area in 2010. We have never had a bad experience. The restaurant is well maintained and has a nice atmosphere. The service is good. Our whole family love the place. My wife and I usually order the Bento Box. Our kids usually order a special roll. The miso soup is very good. The dressing that comes one the salad for the Bento Box is awesome!

Finally stepped into Bonsai II for lunch after writing my review of the original Bonsai location. Man was I surprised at this upscale elegant and softly lit setting. Much more seating than the original Bonsai and same outstanding food for the price. Generous portions. We always end up taking home left overs with the 3 roll lunch special. Around 11:45am, we were the first customers welcomed in that day. A calm quiet atmosphere, perfect first-date venue and its wheelchair accessible. Highly recommend!

If you order eel rolls I recommend not going here. They put such a small amount of eel in you can’t taste it, and they replace it with this crunchy stuff. I’ve complained about it before and they fixed it a couple times but then went right back. They didn’t do this prior to the pandemic so why not just charge more instead of shortchanging people? I haven’t had this experience with other types of fish, only eel. NY Sushi House does a much better job imo.

my 2nd visit here, I live far away but whenever I’m here I like to go for lunch and order the seafood soup, it’s sooo yummy! with green tea this time I ordered the sushi pizza perfect as a quick lunch/snack !! I will be back

The dining atmosphere was nice and the service was great. Staff was polite and the food came to the table pretty quickly. However the food was just okay. The proportion of fish to rice in the sushi roll was not balanced. It was more like a rice roll. The salmon was overcooked and a dry. Had it not been smothered in teriyaki sauce I would not have been able to eat it.
