Our family (from across the country) gathered in Sylacauga twice in 2022; and dined at Booker’s for our dinner get together both times. Our family favorites are the smothered pork chops and fried fish. I believe Booker’s will always be a part of our group family dining events. We experienced excellent service from the staff; and warm greetings and conversations with Mrs. Booker.

First time Bookers for some home cookin. Food was great! The pork chops were fried just right with a crisp, flaky crust. Steamed cabbage, with fresh pepper sauce, and mac and cheese rounded out the meal. Can’t wait to try the Ox Tails next!

Today was my first time to Booker’s. We were greeted at the door by well mannered young men. The menu is simple, but perfect. My friend and I had the smothered pork chop with homemade brown gravy, Mac n cheese and Mashed potatoes with gravy. She had the Chicken n Dressin’, fried okra and Mac n cheese. Sweet tea for the both of us. Needless to say we are so full and will definitely be back. The food actually tasted like it was home made. Instead of saying it is and tastes like it is out of the freezer or a box. Keep up the good work and we loved looking at all the Sylacauga pictures on the way. Nice touch. Staff was polite, helpful and dressed appropriate.
