Finding this place was a Happy Accident as Bob Ross would say. Riding home to Fort Worth, looking for a place to eat. Saw the sign and the crowd in the lot, it has to be good I said. BOOMERANG DINER did not disappoint me. The atmosphere transports you back to a different place in time. Where there is no discussion of politics, nothing but fun!

This little diner is AMAZING! My family and I came into town with our travel trailer and wanted a good breakfast. We stumbled upon this gem and ended up coming both mornings we were here. The lunch and dinner menu is very appealing as well. My food was perfectly cooked. The sweet tea is absolutely worth writing home about. Wonderful small town feel with service 2nd to none. Don’t miss this gem if you’re in town. Highly suggest a visit!!

We stopped by for a late lunch on a Thursday after the nearby safari with a group of 9. It was pretty empty and I think everyone else that was there already ordered. We had a really nice server – I think she was the only one there besides the kitchen staff. Aside from a couple of forgotten things ordered, we were in and out and were full and sleepy by the time we left.

If you stop here for nothing but the fresh made fruit pies, then you absolutely won’t be disappointed! However: The burgers were smaller than I expected and not as flavorful as a basic supersonic cheeseburger. The fries were well cooked, but had no seasoning on them…not even salt. The Chilli cheese dogs were as to be expected…no frills. The onion rings were…well, onion rings, and not bad.

We went here for lunch the other week and my credit card apparently “did not go through”, however upon checking my statement, it appeared that I was charged 3 times and when I went back to the restaurant to confront the staff, I was told that I needed to leave and that they would be calling the police.
