Nice place with cool retro decor. I went in for chefs salad but ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich with a side of fried mushrooms. {I suddenly got hungry and lost control} The food was really good. The sweet tea was spot on. I wanted to give 5 stars but as friendly as the staff was they didn’t come back and fill my drink which was gone halfway through my meal. However I forgot my reading glasses on the table and the waitress brought them out to my truck before I pull out.

The food is all so good! This was one of our favorite food stops on our 4600 mile road trip in September. We were starving as we were driving from Texas to South Dakota. We ended up finding this diner online and we are so glad that we did. It is just a little diner in a small town off the highway. The staff was all very friendly and there were plenty of options on the menu for anyone’s appetite. I got the cheeseburger and fries and my husband got the KV burger with fried mushrooms. His burger had Swiss cheese, mushrooms, onions, lettuce, etc. it was all so tasty! I wish we had more diners like this around. If you are in town or traveling by, stop in and try the food! They also have great chocolate shakes!

This place is so good we were SHOCKED it was a chain! The Boomerang burger was the best burger my wife has had in ages & my omelete, hash browns & biscuit and gravy were perfect. My advice is eat dessert first because their chocolate shake is off the charts! Service was very freindly – it was a real blessing!
