I got the chance to visit while working out of town. I am from the Dallas Texas area, and many people recommended that I stop in and check this place out. Man, I am GLAD I did. Everyone that worked there was very kind and accommodation and they had some of the best fries I have had in a long time! The entire atmosphere of the place was nostalgic and welcoming!

Boomerang Diner is definitely a step up from fast food. The last time I went it wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either. I forgot to picture the pickleos we got but they were definitely overcooked and seemed to be less than usual. Some of the other food was cooked a little too much and my mashed potatoes were kind of cold. Other than that it wasn’t horrible. We were given 9 things of silverware for 2 adults and 4 kids. One of my children also had a lot of gravy on his car (looks likenit fell into my food as they were carrying it) I get stuff happens but that was a fun mess left for us to deal with. The diner was slightly busy but only a couple servers seemed to know what they were doing. Those servers were awesome. Unfortunately the one we had walked right past us as we held up our glass and said excuse me (trying to get a refill) he even looked right at us. I would still recommend boomerang.. I just wouldn’t tell you to get your hopes up.

My boyfriend & I ate here on a date. He ordered biscuits & gravy. I ordered a burger with okra. The food was hot & very flavorful. My favorite food here is the Okra. The atmosphere is amazing with Elvis theme, cars & good music. It is a clean environment with friendly staff. Our food was served on a timely mannor & fresh. Great job Boomerang.

Worst I wont be back. Server didn’t bring silver ware and i ordered a chicken fried steak. Also it was burnt and had no gravy. I took a picture of it as proof. Husband got steak sandwich it was not done. The breading was doughy. I was never asked how my food was by server or the person who rang me up. They were not busy 2 tables besides mine. If i could give no stars i would.

The food is good but it’s definitely on the cheaper side. Chicken fried steak is what I like to get, but it’s just a thin froze patty. That won’t keep me from going back, just won’t go as often. Give it a try.
