When in Bellingham (or passing through), you need to go to Boomer’s. Excellent burgers, fish and chips, hot dogs… and shakes. Don’t miss the shakes! It’s a drive-in or dine-in. I’ve been there many times when passing through, and it’s always fun and yummy!

My kids and I came to Boomers for dinner on a Sunday and Monday. The prices are fantastic and you get big portions! We got burgers and waffle fries. Best affordable restaurant around that area. It was very busy for a Sunday night but we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be served.

I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with Boomers. Love their food, hate their parking. Every time I approach the place I feel like I’m playing the lottery for a parking space. I guess my success in parking there is the main reason I don’t buy lottery tickets. I’ve learned to just park a block away to have a nice safe place to enter and exit from. Anyway, I’ve tried quite a few different burgers over the years but I always seem to go back to the “Combo #1”. It never disappoints. The burger is juicy, the waffle fries crisp, and the milkshakes (chocolate/cherry) are second to none.
