We have visited multiple times and haven’t been disappointed yet. (Except when they were out of strawberry cheesecake cobbler ) But seriously, this place is a hidden gem with a great view, great atmosphere, great food & great service! My husband ate the smoked Cornish hen and said it was the best he’s ever had!

Cute restaurant with a pretty view out back. The waitress was sweet. It was our first visit, so we tried a variety. The catfish came highly recommended , so we tried it. I didn’t like it. Everything else was delicious! The scallops were the best I have had in years! They do not have sodas of any kind. Water, tea or lemonade only. The biggest issue I had was I was freezing in there. It wasn’t just me. My husband is never cold, and he was cold. We really want to give it another shot, but we will dress warmer.

First time trying…. I love it! The food was fresh, seasoned, and not greasy. We were seated immediately, met with smiles, our glasses stayed filled. Staff was wonderful. Both my husband and I were satisfied. A cute restaurant with a lovely staff. Every waitress checked on us if they noticed our glasses were empty. An A plus!

Went for the first time tonight. The ribs are outstanding, they are fall off the bone tender and tasty. Husband had shrimp scampi with a side of grits. He loved it. Highly recommend!

I got the boonshine ( flavored tea). It was something different and was good, I can imagine it would be great on a summer day. I had fried shrimp plate with okra and Mac and cheese. The okra was not that good honestly. It tasted like it was cooked in old grease and how dark it was suggested that also, it also lacked seasoning. Huspuppies were good, shrimp also tasted like the grease needed to be changed and lacked seasoning in my opinion. The Mac and cheese was fantastic. Husband got flounder and shrimp with beans, coleslaw and fried green tomatoes. The flounder and fried green tomatoes were the best for him. His shrimp were the same as mine. He is a bean fanatic , the baked beans were ok but did not taste homemade to him. Coleslaw was average. The building exterior was very appealing. The cashiers were very nice and the inside, what we could see was very nice and appeared clean. I will return, because it is local , and we have only been once.

I’m from Mississippi and this was the best fried catfish I’ve ever eaten. The fried green tomatoes and chutney is DELICIOUS. The owners really care about service and quality of food. Make the drive – you won’t be disappointed!!
