Expect a short wait during busy hours but for the limited staff on hand they produce the best meals you’ll find in Island Park. We got the bruschetta appetizer and I could not believe how fresh all of the ingredients tasted. Our meals were fish and chips and a blue bison burger for me. Both were extremely fresh and my wife’s fish tasted extremely clean and fresh for being in Southeast Idaho. We will definitely be making a trip out here again just for this restaurant.

Excellent dinner, we had a party of six and the food varied from Blue Bison burger to Chicken Fried Chicken. Every meal was delicious. The staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable for what you get. Recommend this place to all, most will enjoy this place.

Everything that the owner chef makes is the best and there’s something for everyone on the menu. Loved my grilled shrimp on a skewer with veggies… salads always fresh with homemade dressings. My husband loved his prime rib sandwich. Glass of wine while we enjoy the cozy dining.

This is one of my very favorite places to eat. I love their steak! It seriously ranks in the top 3 places I’ve eaten for a great steak! Their huckleberry cheesecake is also one of my favorites. Everything is fresh and so tasty. The owners, Pat and Nancy, are very friendly and you can tell they love their cute little restaurant. I highly recommend this place!

This was the best food my entire family has had on our vacation. The cheesy calzone had some of the best crust I’ve ever had. The breads on all the sandwiches was amazing and fresh. The Huckleberry sauce Cheese cake was absolutely delicious. The Carrot cake was fabulous and moist. The only downside was they don’t take Credit Cards so make sure you bring CASH.

Been to this restaurant multiple times in the last two years. They have fantastic food, with a wonderful atmosphere. It has accommodated us with a small group or a group of 10-12. Very friendly staff. Can not wait to visit again this winter. Thanks for your great service.

Went here with some friends because of the good reviews on line. It was not disappointing. I had the Boon’s Burger with fries. The burger was very juicy with good grilled flavor. It was topped with great grilled onions iceberg lettuce tomato and pickles mayo and ketchup. The bum was good but a little to soft and started to fall apart. Only gave four stars because they don’t take credit cards.

I don’t know how they do it! I ordered the chicken fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and vegetables. The chicken was super juicy, the potatoes were creamy, and the vegetables were flavorful and delicious! Nice ambiance too, with a friendly staff. Pretty expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. This place needs more recognition.

My wife and I ALWAYS eat at Boondocks when we go to island park. It doesn’t matter what you order, it’s delicious. Great staff, great atmosphere and a must if you are in island park. Cinnamon rolls are incredible but you better get ’em quick! They run out most days. Overall a 5 star eatery in a beautiful area of Idaho!!
