Delicious burgers! This is the hilo burger with pineapple salsa. It was very good and refreshing. And it was $10 burger Tuesday. I’m excited to return and try another burger!

First time visiting the new place. It was nice and bright inside. The booth was a little high for this short girl… Next time we will opt for a table. The atmosphere was nice the service was good and we showed up pretty late, no one rushed us out. The food was good, my burger was a little overdone for medium but the flavor of the sauce was tasty! We will give it another try.

First there to eat. Had the maryland crab soup, also the smokestack burger. It was burger night, the burger was delicious. The soup was delicious as well. Staff was friendly from the minute entering the restaurant and leaving. I left feeling full, from the meal I ate, burger was a decent size. Next time will get a picture of the burger.

Food wasn’t too bad. My meal was as expected, others had some shortcomings but everyone was satisfied overall. Prices were fair, portions were just right too. The mixed drinks were a bit strong, to the extent one glass sat full all night. Staff had that “coal region courtesy” going on, not rude but… rough perhaps? Attentive an good none the less.

We had 8 ladies in our party. Everyone enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. Did not hear one negative comment…and believe me if these ladies had a complaint, it would have been known. Our server was pleasant and accommodating.

Our 1st time here and was very pleased. Very nice building outside and inside, simply stated. Warm and welcoming staff. The owner-chef, greeted us at the entrance and then also came by our table to talk. Happy with the service, portions and our meals were served hot and were very delicious. Will came back again for a visit when we are in the area.

The food is amazing. It’s very pricey for what you get. You get 1 side with your option, so you pay extra for a salad if you want it. It was the best steak I have had in a while. It was cooked perfectly and sooooo tender, and I only got the cheaper one. I don’t mind paying for something that is good. The cheesecake was the best I ever had. Service was quick and efficient. She was more than helpful very pleasant.

My wife and I received a gift card for Boondocks from her nephew a while back, he raved about the food there, so we decided to go and have lunch she had taken the day off of work. The dining room was pretty sparse, only one other couple, and the atmosphere was pretty cozy. My wife ordered the lobster roll sandwich and I ordered a CBLT, crab, bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich both came with french fries. My wife said her’s was incredible and be honest, I had never eaten anything even close to the CBLT. Whomever thought of putting crab on a BLT is a genius! It was by far the best sandwich to date. I will no doubt eat at Boondocks as often as possible to try as many menu items there are. Boondocks is a great place to take a date for a great meal and atmosphere!! We also ordered two dozen Jumbo Wings to enjoy later that day, hence the higher cost.
