Ordered the Beef Polish; my Grandson bring it home and there is nothing on it. My Grandson said the person at the counter told him that’s how it comes; which is completely not true; if you look at their IG page there is a picture of a Polish with onions and peppers, along with my comment on how great it tasted. Not only was the Polish dry, they charged me for 2 Polish and said he couldn’t reverse the charge since they were closing for the night. Now I’m sitting here with a dry Beef Polish.

The Boonie Mac Shack is less than a mile from me and I find it very convenient. We usually get the Sloppy Tip bowl, but do order other menu items as well. We crave their desserts as well, as they have quite delectable choices. They now offer dine-in as well. Natural by Necessity
Wow what a pleasant surprise! Everything I had on my plate was delicious! Catfish, yams, greens, cornbread. Portion size was good. Service was good. Cashier was very pleasant and packed order nicely. Only complaint is there was too much juice from greens that spilled out in the paper bag. Thank god they wrapped my cornbread and fish in wax paper. That kept it from getting soggy from the juice. Will definitely eat here again!!

My husband and I tried this restaurant out today-he got the chicken tenders and I got the rib tips and also the mac and cheese. It was delicious. The service was excellent and the restaurant is clean, we will definitely be going back.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch today. Was pleasantly surprised. I had the rib tip lunch special and she had the cat fish lunch special. Both, were VERY VERY good! Meaty, fall off the bone tips and good size catfish fillets. We both had the mac n cheese, which is CREAMY, just the way I like it, and my wife had the green beans and I had the baked beans. And they were also VERY good, as was the home made corn bread, that was included. And “HOME MADE LEMONADE!”

My first time here & the ladies were nice & well mannered. I came here on a Saturday during the 6 p.m hour it was not at all busy. I bought a short order of rib tips & mac & cheese. They don’t have a lengthy order of side items which was disappointing, I had to ask the lady if they had any other sides because I think it was only 4 listed & she said mac & cheese. The tips were good, like came off the bone easily & a nice amount!

Unfortunately, the beans looked and tasted like they were straight out of the can and the fries that I had to wait for because they had “just gone down” were pretty cold and not at all crisp. I did not buy any type of meat, only baked beans and fries. (I opened the bag immediately when I got in the car so it would be as fresh/hot as possible.)
