We visited their food truck in the Food Truck Rodeo today. Ordered a pound of pulled pork and a side sweet potato fries. Both the lady at the window and the guy preparing food checked with me on my order. When I got home, I found I only got a cup of ∼10oz pork and potato fries, but my credit card bill showed they charged me for the full pound price. Despite the fact that their food is up to par, this is a terrible scam. Such a shame we invited them to the festival today.

Definitely a quaint place. The service was very good. We didn’t care for the way the ribs were seasoned, the coleslaw was missing something it was dry and had absolutely no taste. Buy dry I mean it wasn’t creamy. The baked beans were excellent. We will go back at some point try the pulled pork. So I went back to try the brisket today, disappointed, small portion, very dry, no distinctive flavor. Friend went with me and they had a similar response. Today was a Saturday and parking was impossible.

Loved the Floyd atmosphere. The food was average. I had been by there before, and the smoker must have been going and the smell was awesome. No smoker going when I ate there. Maybe the food was freshly cooked.

I ate here last year and it was 5 star. Couldn’t wait to come back this year but this time it was terrible. I had a BBQ sandwich which was very skimpy on BBQ. Wife had something else and she was very disappointed as well. There are too many other good eateries in town. I won’t go back.

So… I got the pulled pork sandwich with some fries. The meat was plentiful, juicy, and tender with the right amount of smokiness to it. They had four sauces to add to it that were hard to choose from. The spicy-est was still kind of mild for my personal tastes (1-2 million scoville rating) but I’m accustomed to not being able to find many places that cater to me.

Half rack of ribs was very small and totally dry. They were also out of a lot of food. Only three people were in front of us and we stood in line for 40 mins. Took another 25 mins for us to get our food. The reviews made it sound so good but turned out to be a HUGE disappointment. Do not recommend.

We had dinner at Bootleg BBQ while visiting Floyd with our dog. It’s a food truck, but there’s an outdoor seating area so we could bring Alex. My wife and I both had the pulled pork sandwich and they were really good – tasty sauces too. The outdoor seating area is really nice and scenic spot to dine. I would definitely eat here again if visiting Floyd.

Had the brisket the first time we ate here and then had the chicken wings the sec time and both were so delicious! I especially love the regular fries, they are seasoned to perfection. Eating is outside or you can take it to go. The Floyd park is walking distance for the kiddos which is a great bonus too! We will definitely be going back.

Friday at 6pm (3 hrs before closing)on a downtown music night, and the 3 riblets they called a “half rack” were dried out until crunchy, the pulled pork was equally overheated, and they were out of brisket. The cowgirl has two good bites of likewise overcooked chicken. Got better stuff from the Food lion frozen section. The outdoor sitting area was fine, but it’s portapotty. The next door Revolution Juice salad and smoothies were much better.
