The draw to the border bar is definitely the pizza. The pizza here was a bit of a wait, but was really good! We also got the tater kegs and they came out hot and fast. It clhas definitely been cleaned up, but still has a dive bar feel.

So good we ate dinner here two days in a row while visiting Voyageurs National Park. Beer was cold and priced decent. Pizza was excellent. You do have to order at the counter. Staff was friendly.

Pizza is always excellent. We had sausage, onion and mushroom. Crust was done perfectly even with as crazy busy as it was. Could use a good cleaning in the bathrooms. But then again, it’s a busy, busy bar. Well made bar drinks.

Stopped in for pizza and was pleasantly surprised that beers were cheap and the bar was playing MTV classic music videos on TV. Perfect atmosphere. Our bartender was also so positive and kind!

Employees were dropping F-bombs and throwing things into sink and they never brought our appetizers until after pizza .The attitude of a couple of the employees ruined our dining experience which was sad since the pizza was the best we ever had.

A long standing institution of International Falls, Border Bar’s pizza is well-loved for a reason: it’s super delicious! If you love tomatoes as much as I do, it’s practically an excuse in itself to order a pizza (instead of diced pieces, BB uses large slices of real tomatoes). The burgers are hearty, the chicken strips are juicy, and the shrimp jammers are my new favorite in the appetizer section.
