The Fish and coleslaw was really good, but wish they had an alternative for French fries. That was the only option for a side on Fridays. A salad or even baked potato would have been nice and easy options. Cash or check only (no credit cards). The prices are reasonable.

Little Gem! The front of the restaurant is unassuming. However it is like stepping back in time to good ol supper club days. We arrived early by 5pm and sat at one of the bar tables. The place just started filling up. It came alive with the local and out of towners. People were friendly, laughing and having a great time. Only one bartender, but she could make a mean old fashion with a smile! The food arrived fast and HOT by our server Barb. The best fish we have been too in a long time. We have tried several fish frys all over Wisconsin and Borlands tops them all in friendly service and yummy food done right!!

We noticed there were black greasy specs on all of our glasses after we ate our food. We went up to ask the staff about it and one woman said that they knew about the problem. It is on all the serving ware put into the dishwasher. They got a new dishwasher and everything now has black, greasy, specs on it. They said they were told that the chemicals in the dishwasher are eating the rubber hoses and leaving the specs. They said they tried different things to remediate the problem but were told to get a another new dishwasher. But the staff said they just bought one, implying they were not going to pay for another one. The staff had the audacity to seem annoyed when I pushed further after they already said they knew about the problem
