Got a takeout order for dinner. The Goat Tahari was the only dish that scored the maximum points on my book. The Morag Polao was the second best at 7 out of 10. At last, the Shami kabab was 4 out of 10. For a newly opened place, their service is very good. If they just tweak their current recipes to the authentic way, all of the concerns will be removed. Only the Goat Tahari can be left the way it is. Wishing this restaurant the very best. Definitely recommend trying them out.

By far the best Bangladeshi restaurant in Paterson, much better in taste than others here. Food is also inexpensive, hosts are really amazing, the decoration is inspiring and most important of all unlike other Bengali restaurants they have many fresh items to serve. However restaurant is not that large with a maximum capacity near 20 people. Nevertheless, this restaurant is highly recommended to taste authentic Bangladeshi food.

The food is tasty and cost is also reasonable. The restaurant is clean and the customer service is good. We had beef khichuri, morog polao , puti fish and liver curry. Every item was scrumptious and we will come back again.

Ordered catering from this restaurant because we were hosting for my husband’s Bengali family. Price was great and we got a lot of food. The Beef tehari and shrimp malai kari were my favorite. The roshmalai sweets are amazing. They offer delivery. Everything was fresh and amazing. The owners were so friendly and tried to customize the food base on our taste.

We live in Jersey City’s which is a little far from Paterson. But distance is not a factor when you crave good Bangladeshi food. After moving to New Jersey last year, we have tried almost all Bangladeshi restaurants in Jersey. Among all of them Bornali Cafe is our favorite. The food tastes like home made food. My wife and I are big fan of the beef tehari and kichuri. We do not miss those whenever we are driving by Paterson. Shrimp malaikari and mutton rezala are also very good. If you have not have good Bengali sweets in while, I highly recommend their Roshmalai. That roshmalai is top class.
