1st time! Great friendly patient staff! Food came out hot! Everything was fresh and delicious! I tried the breakfast burrito #2 add tofu Scramble! I am not vegan!! I thought I didn’t like tofu!! The tacos were good I heard and the nordo?( ) has a good spicy salsa on it!

Unbelievably delicious. I was shocked at the level of taste. And it wasn’t just “good for vegan” it was legit GOOD, by any standard. I had the Cactus and potato taco, mushroom and spinach enchilada with green sauce, a cabbage taco, a breakfast taco special with yuca, and cauliflower ceviche. Unreal.

¡Que delicioso! The food here is on-par with what I’ve seen on reviews and heard from others. Laid-back atmosphere that feels like a traditional Mexican place, while having some youthful freshness that appeals to many generations. The dishes are seasoned with care, better than many tacos with meat I’ve had before. My recommendation: los tacos con ensalada de nopales, tengo ganas de regresar especialmente por esos tacos. Give this place a chance, the servers are also very eager with their service.

First time here thought it was a birrieria but when walking in and ordering we had a surprise. All vegan. Gave it a try and fell in love with their onion curtido. The guacamole is amazing. The tostadas are stupid fire! Couldn’t even tell if it was real meat in my vegan tacos. They have the friendliest most kind and alert staff. Wife and I highly recommend it.

I have lived in California for 15 years and this is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever tried. The food is beyond incredible and the employees are extremely kind and take pride in providing the best tasting food to their customers. It is rare to find authentic Mexican restaurants that refrain from using lard or chicken stock in their “vegetarian dishes” but at Borreguitas, everything can be made vegan. If you want to visit a homey, authentic, vegan, and women owned small business, this is the place to visit!

The food was ok nothing special, the meat choice was good had a little sweetness to it. The burrito was huge But there wasn’t much rice and beans that came with the tacos. Their standards went down they don’t serve your food on a an actual plate. The seasonal Ague Fresca was not too sweet and had a perfect natural taste to it. There was Flys in the restaurant too but thats how you know it’s authentic.
