Visited back in May to grab some takeout. It’s in the Electric Depot shopping centre, which has plenty of parking on either side, but you have to kinda find it. There are signs with the names of the establishments all around, so remember to look up!

The dishwasher lady ( I think that’s what she said) gave us a ride home since she saw us walking down the sketchy street late at night. She and the other person in the car were so sweet and kind to us. 10/10 dishwasher lady. The ramen was also amazing and their partner location Sweet Society was great! The staff from both places are so unbelievably kind. I will definitely be coming back and bringing more friends! Thank you dishwasher lady for saving us from a scary trip back home 😀

This place was really nice. It was clean and the atmosphere was really laid back. I had lunch with a friend here and it was just a really great experience. The food was really good. The waitress was very attentive. We started off with an appetizer (came out piping hot) it was Chicken Karaage, it was plated beautifully as well and enough to share. I ordered the Chicken Patian, and my friend ordered the Kumamoto Black Tonkotsu, they were plated beautifully and tasted really amazing. I also had their Asain Pear Moonstone sake drink (it was a very subtle but definitely present pear sake) it was really delicious. I would love to go again and try other items on their menu because what we had tasted so good and it was just such a great experience.

8/13/23 @7pm my husband, his friend and I went to this place. It started off good, they had a nice little crowd, the atmosphere was decent. They had no wait and so we were able to be seated right away. We Stat down, looked at our menu and was able to order our drinks and appetizers. Got out drinks, and we’re talking, passing time. Our appetizers come. We prded the chicken, which was pretty decent. The mayonnaise sauce that came with it was also ok. Before you know it’s 8pm and they come telling us they ran out of rice wait a minute wth u mean u ran out of rice….Rice? We’ve been sitting here an hour and u didn’t know this an hour ago, even 45 minutes ago . So now we ask what can be done and they are saying nothing. I’m sorry I’m not paying full price for our food when we’re not getting the main part of it. So u know what, I paid for our drinks, canceled the rest of our order and left. This was totally ridiculous and I find it unprofessional. I WIL NEVER RETURN THERE.

The food was really good and I will definitely come back. I did think the prices were reasonable for the ramen. I tried the vegan and red tonkatsu ramen, and both broths are delicious. The atmosphere was sleek, clean and comfortable. I appreciate the variety in veggie and meat options.

When I say I love ramen, that means I have to visit a ramen place when I travel for work… BORU was on paper a promising place, and visually the restaurant looks very comfy and delightful.. I ordered the chicken kaarage as an appetizer and the flavors and crunchiness where fantastic and on point… for my main course, I went traditional with tonkotsu ramen broth… the noodles were cooked nicely and the pork chasu was tender and flavorful. Unfortunately, the broth was a bit lacking flavorwise… perhaps the bones were not cooked out long enough?? Overall, it was a pretty pleasant experience…

Made fresh every day, and it is simply amazing. They even have a noodle machine from Japan where you can watch them make noodles.

I had the Rouge Red Tonkotsu (Spicy) and it was great. I expected it to have a little more heat but I was incredibly pleased because it wasn’t too much spice! I ordered the Salted Edamame as my appetizer and it was quite tasty as well! I highly recommend Boru Ramen, don’t sleep on this place!

I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen with the red oil during my second visit to this establishment. It was just as delicious as the normal tonkotsu ramen. Truly authentic, I lived in Tokyo for a year, flavor filled and generous in terms of the amount of noodles. I highly recommend you visit this treasure in Baton Rouge
