Dined this afternoon food was really good. We selected spicy fried pickle & jalapeño pepper strips, Chile wings, grilled chicken sandwich, smothered hamburger steak, sweet potato fries, side salad& super frosty margarita.

The chips and burger queso dip was great and the salsa dip was just a tad spicy but it was appreciated since we love our spices. Do try the chicken fried steak but I recommend it be shared if you don’t mind paying the $2.00 fee to split the meal. Otherwise just order one and ask for an extra plate…. you can split it yourself. Delicious, great staff and authentic atmosphere with plenty of wild trophies mounted about.

We ended up here because the original place we went was closed. What a great surprise! Four different dishes and we all thought they were great. Waitress Caylee was fantastic, made sure we were happy. Friendly and helpful, we will be back.

All we wanted was burgers & fries, to go. The amount of meat was satisfactory, but it was so greasy. We had 3 orders & none were correct. The lettuce was horribly wilted, so much so that we put it in the trash. The fries were overly done. Not worth almost 15.00 per person. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

Okay heres the situation on this place, unless you’re local you’re probably going to give a bad review whether it’s the food or the service. If you are in a hurry go to Sonic or McDonald’s in Whitney. Here you are at the lake so generally nobodys in a hurry. Like other restaurants right now its hard to get and keep good staff that wana work and care about customer service especially if its a teenager. You gotta know what to order and who to be your server or bartender. Catfish, quesadillas, pizza and burgers are delicious. Recommend sitting in the bar for best service.

Waited several minutes to be seated. Finally got to a table, given the menu and silverware and then sat and sat. No offer for drink selection as we watched waitress after waitress walk right on past us. The business was slow. We got tired of waiting for service after 10 minutes sitting there. We left.

The service was *intentionally* bad and the food wasn’t quite good enough to make up for it. Waitress slammed plates onto the table and left drinks sitting at the bar and only brought them to the table after they were warm.
