My kid wanted to eat here, never again. This place is so outdated, scary trying to sit down on these old tables. Nothing works, from the doors, and the soda machine. It smells crazy weird. The meals are now overpriced and shrinking in portion. I ordered a regular size meal and the portion size were that of a kids meal. Now we know why these fast food chains are slowly going downhill and dying fast.

Around 9:15pm on a Wednesday I went in to order an individual with three pieces of dark meat. The manager at this time cut 1 thigh piece into two pieces to count as more which is totally unacceptable! I’m uploading a picture of the Boston market thigh she had cut (on the left) in comparison to a Popeyes normal sized one UNCUT (on the right). Overall, this manger tried to deceive/scam me and I wanted to warn other customers. This doesn’t usually happen at the other Boston markets I’ve been to for years but specifically at this location I wanted to try near my new workplace, this happened to me for the first time.

The portions are tiny…they like to charge a lot but the amount of food will not even feed a child…this portion was quarter rotisserie chicken and even though on 3.14 we used a coupon to pay $3.14 it felt like BM really gave less than $3 worth of chicken. Without a coupon this would cost $9

The chicken still have the same flavor but the potatoes looked like they were from a year ago. The place is dead, barely customers maybe that’s why some of the food looks stale. The area of the refreshments looks bad and no taking care of.

I always get dark meat as I find it more flavorful. However there was no dark meat available, I had white meat and indeed it was very dry. Also I was going to choose the sweet potatoes as one of my sides and was surprised to see that it was an extra dollar for that. So I passed on that planning to get a brownie but–surprise, there were none — only chocolate chip cookies which felt hard. So I got a side of sweet potatoes after all.

Service is great, all of the employees really work hard and are very friendly. The food is typical Boston Market, and I really do enjoy it. I think they might offer some trial menu items here before they do in other cities, but I’m not sure about that. I’m somewhere between 4 & 5 star, but just the classic, fast, rotisserie chicken, meatloaf, turkey, and major side selection.
