Venue is beautiful! Window seat gives a pleasant view. Server was very patient and gave great service. Rosemary focaccia was INCREDIBLE, so soft and warm and delicious! Couldn’t recommend more. Pizza was cut into big slices with nice chewy crust, but still nice and not too thick. Gnocchi was the perfect portion size, with a very rich (almost too rich) pesto sauce and pine nuts on top. Tuna tartare tasted fresh and clean. Finished everything and would come again.

Heard a lot about this place so we decided to try it with some friends. Average looking from the outside but as soon as you step in, it was a very nice place. Loved the decor and large kitchen. Service was average. Due to it being very busy, drinks took forever…appetizers arrived before drinks did and that’s never a good sign. Food was quite good. Appetizers were amazing and the dessert was to die for. The mains weren’t too special. Definitely worth trying out.

We went here to celebrate a joined birthday and a late Father’s Day. Our server, Sterling, was kind and accommodating. Cocktails were okay, wine selection was good. Salad was good, appetizers were okay. Pizza was great—crust was super yum and the way it should be: pillowy, crusty, and chewy. Heard great things about the lamb shank dish and the sides that come with. Ambience was open and bright with a cute grocery section in the front. Would come back again for the pizza.

We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Up until our last visit there over the weekend, the food has always been good. The service was always questionable. This last visit over the weekend is making us question if we will ever go back. The food was SO BAD! The server, who never even came to check in on us at all during the entire meal, forgot to bring us part of our order which was supposed to come out before the main course. I couldn’t even find him so I had to get up from the table and find someone else to notify him. We eventually got the forgotten bread order (not bread on the house, its a paid for item) when we were almost done with our entrees and I actually spit it out because it was so incredibly disgusting. It was stale, dry and tasted like it was 2 weeks old. My pasta dish had absolutely no flavor, at all. The salad (that I have gotten every single time for the last 2 years) was now half the portion it used to be…and soggy…gross.

Fantastic ambience and live music. Truly a luxury experience. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar and ordered risotto and spaghetti. The risotto was so rich and flavorful. The decor was spectacular and the market area was a feast for the eyes. Highly recommend!

Awesome true Italian restaurant. Pricey ($$$$) but finally some quality. There is no other Italian restaurant in Laguna Niguel which offers true Italian dishes, they are more likely OliveGarden.

Great vibe and atmosphere. I had the lamb shank and would not recommend it. It was very dry. A good portion but I will try other items next time.

This is a terrific spot. The place itself is very large… right when you walk in that there is a literal Bottega… featuring a wide variety of Italian meat, cheeses, wines, pastries, and other fine delectables available in a store-like setting.

Great place, we came at 3pm so it is only small plates and pizza. We had the meatballs, it was very good, it could have a little bit more salt. And we the prosciutto, cheese and cantaloupe plate. It was amazing.
