Delicious food and Outstanding Professionalism! We recently used Bottomless Pit BBQ for a Corporate open house and they were FANTASTIC! They provided a quote in a timely manner, answered all of the questions that we had, were exceedingly accommodating to our difficult requests/time frame, and were extremely prompt and responsive. In particular we needed 2 catering events on the same day. Several catering companies turned us down automatically because it was too challenging – one company even stated “we cant help because we spoke with our catering staff and they don’t want to work those hours”. Bottomless Pit BBQ was completely different and took on the challenge, knowing they would find a way to make the situation work. Because of their professionalism we booked them for our event and we were so beyond happy with our choice. Their food was beyond AMAZING and delicious! Everyone at the event was thoroughly pleased. In particular the rice was outstanding. Other benefits included – variety of package options. We selected Chafes, servers, no run out guarantee, drinks, 3 meats, etc. It was so nice to be able to customize to our specific need. We will definitely be using Bottomless Pit BBQ again in the future.

It’s my first time in Texas and I really wanted to try their famous BBQ. This place was close to where I was working, but some Google reviews gave me pause, so I’m here to set the record straight. This place is phenomenal and you know it when you walk in the door. The smell of good food, cooked right, draws you in. The hi Def menu makes you want to order everything they have. And the staff is friendly and fast. The food was way more than I could eat in a sitting. I couldn’t believe I got that much food at that price and then when I sat down to eat it, I couldn’t stop. This was the best food I have had in Corpus Christi. If you’re in town, make sure you stop in.

I held a family event at Bottomless Pit BBQ that I was coordinating from out of state. The entire staff, from owner, manager and the person serving, were phenomenal. The space was perfect for our family get together, the food was good and how everyone went above and beyond to help was amazing. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience and I know my Corpus family will be going there again.

Man, used to be a great place. I haven’t eaten there in some time but, when I call and ask what the price is to just smoke a brisket and I’m told 50$ just to smoke. It’s all good BBQ Man is doing it for 2.79 a pound. Times must be tough.

Smelled great when walking in. Got the 3 meat plate w/sweet tea $18 and change. Brisket seemed like it was cooked in the oven and was a few days old. No texture,taste, just a big bite of grease. 1 spare rib was ok , pretty dry. Jalapeno sausage was good. Sweet tea was very good, just enough to taste the sugar

We were in Corpus Christi for a few days. From Roswell, NM. Went to several different restaurants. But this was literally the best BBQ we have ever tasted and at such an awesome price. We even left in a better mood then what we arrived! This will definitely be one of our stops when we come back!

I visited this place because they were going to cater an event I was working with. Went in for a meeting and decided to have lunch while I was there. I had the brisket and sausage lunch. Outstanding meat. Very moist, not too spicy, not too salty, not greasy. No heartburn afterwards. These are my criteria for good BBQ. It’s on Leopard street, in an area where alot of other BBQ places are. It’s a traditional place, not fancy, but clean and good service. The sauce was really good, but I really didn’t need it. The meat was so moist you didn’t want to disturb the moment. I will be going back on my next trip. Never had the meeting but I did have the meat. I also had the mac and cheese. Good stuff. I had no complaints on anything. It’s a should visit when in Corpus.

We got the Big boy and a loaded potato w/ puller pork. The potato was the size of a personal Watermelon. The meat is tender, moist and flavorful. So good you almost dont want to put anything on it, keyword almost. The house made bbq sauce is a good mix of tangy and hint of sweet we asked for seconds. Be prepare to take home a doggie bag. Though its a little more expensive its quantity and quality that give you bang for your buck. The decor isnt much but worth the drive and construction. They have quickly found a loyal customer.

Best barbecue in town, the ribs are just the top notch, the brisket is juicy, tasty and very tender, their chili and corn bread are just Texan all the way and delicious too… If you want to try it you need to come by early otherwise they will be out of ribs and brisket as early as 1 pm if not earlier, they close 2:30 pm. Congratulations Bottomless Pit BBQ you are the best I have tried in years!!!
