We were given menus and our drinks. They cleaned two tables, but no one ever took our order. We waited about fifteen minutes, left $3 for the drinks, and departed. We felt invisible.

I realize it’s only the 2nd day but I got a to go order of po boys: oyster, gator and crawfish with red beans and rice, fried okra and the maque Choux (corn). None of it had any flavor. I was afraid it might actually be too spicy for my husband but it was so bland. This isn’t the Louisiana/Cajun style food I’ve had before. Was so hoping this would be authentically flavored.

I realize that i dined there the first day they were open but i was generally disappointed in food. No one in my group of 4 people gave the food quality more than an average rating. It just didn’t resemble what i know to be typical cajun. I do plan to go back one more time to see if food improves.
