Wow. The food, service and atmosphere all have exceeded my expectations. The streamed littleneck clams and fried calamari are out of the world. I will give 10 stars for this place. One can also watching the actions between the chef and his team. The seafood are all prep right in front literally.

One of my favorite go to places in Somerville. My favorite seat is at the chef’s table so I can watch what’s going on & ask the prep guys questions. Greg the chef is always on hand with a smile & to tell me what I should eat, since I can never make up my mind (well that’s after scoffing off a couple of dozen raw oysters, which are always fresh & tasty). I’m fairly sure I’ve eaten everything off of their menu & there isn’t anything that I don’t like! Fish is always fresh, sauces are amazing. The seafood paella is by far the best I’ve tasted anywhere, there is more seafood in there than rice! The octopus & shrimp salad is amazing. Their variation of poke just melts in your mouth. The seafood risotto is another favorite. Can’t go wrong with taco’s any day of the week!

Visited many times. Always a great meal even if a little pricey but for the presentation and taste it’s worth it. Definitely finding repeat favorites but unfortunately cannot recommend the lump crab cakes. I’d tried most of the menu items this point and was really looking forward to finally trying them. They tasted very good but for $36 for 2 medium cakes I didn’t find anything resembling anything larger than shreds, and honestly quite a lot of bread crumbs. Would not order those again. I should have said something at the time but didn’t want to bring anything up in front of my dining companion. Would be 5 stars otherwise. Service is always spot on but this time nobody told us about the 5% discount for paying cash. I didn’t remember until after the bill was paid.

We absolutely love sitting at the counter. It’s always incredibly busy because of how good the food is, so be prepared to relax and take your time. Well worth it for the excellent food and kindness of the staff!
