This restaurant was aesthetically pleasing ad they had live music which is always a plus! I got a coffee from the coffee bar and didn’t have to even wait for it. It was done immediately. I celebrated a birthday brunch here and the food was really good as well as the mimosa. I would recommend going here for a nice brunch or dinner. Friendly staff and welcoming environment!

The place is beautiful, great ambiance and great service. We ordered the Burger and the Steak and fries. Burger was delicious, juicy and cook perfectly. The hanger steak could have been better, no crust. Fries were extremely salty, we couldn’t even eat them. For dessert try the bread pudding, it was perfect.

We absolutely loved Boulon Brasserie. We gave it 5 starts because every detail of a great meal was achieved, including impeccable food quality. The fresh baguette was fantastic (I’m a bread lover), the Caesar salad was beyond fresh and crispy, the charcuterie platter was a perfect appetizer for 2 and the main meals were great (cauliflower steak and lobster puff pastry). Finally, the dessert was spectacular – an amazing bread pudding. The service was solid. The ambiance lively but not oppressive. A bit pricy, but not beyond the overall quality.

I’m so impressed with Boulon! Wow what an incredible experience. Did the Ossetra caviar to start and it was some of the best caviar I’ve had. The service was great even though it was extremely busy. The filet was cooked to perfection, the fries were crispy and delicious, the mashed potatoes also perfect. Absolutely love this place and will be returning!

I am surprised at the negative reviews of Boulon Brasserie as it is so new. There is always a “breaking in period” in Hospitality. My husband and I had a sensational experience last night with Michael as our Waiter! He had wonderful suggestions, descriptions and he was fun. He celebrated us and he and the staff all treated us with kindness. They all seemed to love their job and the environment which is rare in the restaurant business. We know we will frequent Boulon and we cannot wait for the Pâtisserie area to open up! We ordered a lot and I posted photos. Everything was delicious and perfect. The Manager came over to check on us at the end of the experience and he was awesome. I think the people who reviewed poorly should give them another chance. They have a wonderful Chef who used to work at Bern’s and another that used to work with Gordon Ramsay. We are so happy we were able to get in so quickly after they opened for business. We shall be back 🙂 Thank you Chef and Team for your hospitality! Update – we are not able to try brunch until next weekend however we stopped into the new bakery this afternoon. The staff was very kind and attentive. Thus far, the treats we have tried are scrumptious!

Went last night for anniversary dinner, not our first time in. Have always been impressed, the food is amazing. Our server Megan was absolutely everything anyone could ask for from a server. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks in large part to Alec, who provided the best service I have ever experienced. He was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. They have a fantastic and very unique cocktail selection. The blue crab beignets were absolutely delicious and surprisingly light. The French onion, soup and steak tartare were also very good. I would not recommend the Escarg go. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as good as the other appetizers and I have had better elsewhere. It was a bit bland. For the main course, the snapper, scallop risotto, and schnitzel were all fantastic.

Refcon
Large open space this is an excellent French bistro that opened in January. Service was wonderful & the food even better. If you’re really tall ask to sit on the bench or your legs will hit the top of your table. Try the blue crab beignets, very unique & super tasty. The pork schnitzel & hanger steak frites were very good as well.

First time visiting Boulon. My wife and I have been to a few of the water street restaurants, and this is our favorite. The inside is very nice, the design looks similar to Ponte in midtown. I think the bread is better at ponte, but still very good. I liked the crab beignets, but my wife loved them. We came for the smash burger and we weren’t disappointed. The best bun/cheese I’ve ever had on a burger, but I think if it had a tomato it would have been better.
