My first time here with my friend. Upon entering the lady who was at the desk knew exactly who I was related to. And she was very nice. I loved the atmosphere because the bar itself had quite a few people in it watching the Kentucky Derby, and I could see all the lovely hats the women were wearing. My friend and I ate in the dining area and we both had the New York strip steak with a side and a salad. It was delicious and I hope I can go there again soon sometime.

Visited here for the first time, mainly for the $1.00 Oysters from 3-6pm , but ended up enjoying our meal here as well. Jack was our server and he was wonderful and attentive. The oysters were fabulous and definitely worth the trip. I also had the bourbon glazed salmon which was extremely good and would definitely order it again. We also ordered the lobster ravioli which was in a white Alfredo like sauce, and it was also very good.

Visiting OC, this past weekend, and decided to check this place out. We got Crushes (Grapefruit and Key Lime), Spinach and Crab dip, Oysters, Chesapeake Chicken (forgot the crab meat, but credited the check), and Seafood Pasta (with linguine). The food was great. The waitress was very polite and friendly…she shared she is the owner’s daughter who came out of retirement to help out. There was a live band playing…music was pretty good. Overall, good experience.

This is not meant to be a negative review, but there are many things that could have been better .. the hostess was great she was an older lady, very sweet. They sat us inside .. there was no background music, just silence .. the server was Tyler.. nice guy just needs additional training. We got 2 salads, and one of them looked old. Our cocktails were served in plastic cups, which were unattractive.. the actual restaurant was clean and nice. The temperature in the building was uncomfortably warm,and our app and dinner were served almost simultaneously.. within 3 minutes of each other .. we didn’t get to enjoy the app, and the steak i had for dinner lacked flavor. 40 bucks for the steak, which is the norm, but the steak had no taste. I think this place has great potential, but this time (my first time) made me think about other options for dinner for the rest of our stay. I would give it another try as I come to OC often, so I hope these suggestions are considered.
