At first it was very good but it’s gone downhill a bit. The rice is super greasy and I’m a big fan of house special fried rice if it’s done right and their’s (to me) isn’t very good. Their sesame chicken in decent so I get it with white rice instead. I prefer Oriental Delight in Dover or China Palace in Rochester more.

Ignore the bad reviews here. Bow Lake has the finest Chinese food I’ve found since moving from Massachusetts to New Hampshire 10 years ago. How did I not notice this place? If you want the usual, pu pu platers, etc .. you’ll find they’re pretty good but typical, with large portions and fresh ingredients.I go for the amazing array of dishes they have. Lomein, chow mein, curry, check out their menu! There are many to chose from for any taste. The grilled pork was very good. The pork had a nice grilled taste and the crispy onions were the star. I’m a curry fan, so the curried beef was on my list. All together I got 5 dishes and fried rice. Each was piping hot, tastes of fresh, crisp veggies and each of the bases had it’s own clearly unique flavor. Payment in person, not over the phone. I had no wait at all and was in & out in minutes. Very busy counter, so show some restraint. Once it’s your turn they’re nice & friendly. You will like this place.

Food was decent overall. I really liked the house lo mein. I’ve tried the usual appetizers and they were all good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the chicken wings but my mother liked them so probably just a personal taste thing. This is the third attempt at a Chinese restaurant in this spot so I hope they succeed.

I went in for lunch and it was NASTY !!!! We spent 30.25$ and threw it all away. The s&s chicken was so greasy i used 5 napkins to sop it up, and was still greasy. The rice was tasteless,and clumpy from the starch..My sister had cashew ckn. and was so salty she could not eat it…We told the owner and never ask us if we wanted something to replace it.She just kept on making excuses. My opinion just drive by..I could have just thrown the $30 out the window..Not even asked if we wanted a refund..Just friggen GROSS !!!!! Did not even want to give it a star, but i could not post till i did !!!
