Haven’t been to this place for a long time. They renovated the entire restaurant and seating spaces are not crowded as before. Food quality is good and I love they always have variety of vegetables in the sushi roll and also buckwheat noodle salad. They provide variety of side dishes too. Good service and friendly staff too 🙂 The special multi grain drink is also a traditional Korean drink which I do not find in other restaurant.

Please try the bibimbap – it has a great variety of veggies in it which makes the the taste very refreshing. The spicy beef brisket noodle soup is also pretty good. Overall, it is a little bit pricy(I guess most Korean restaurants are kind of pricy), but this one is probably one of the best and most authentic Korean restaurants I have ever tried around here.

Pretty good Korean restaurant near UC Berkeley. We took our God daughter who is a freshman at UC Berkeley, out for lunch. We found this restaurant on Yelp with good reviews.

This is the Albany location. If you go to the Alameda one, the menu is slightly different. This is one of our go to Korean restaurants if we are on this side of the bay. Love the fried chicken – only one flavor but 3 different spice levels to choose from. Portions of the bulgogi and short ribs were on the small side (they are bigger at the Alameda location). We also had the kimchi pancake – yummy. The kimchi fried rice was too spicy for my son. We were disappointed. The server did not ask what spice level and we forgot to tell him. Even though it was yummy, at some point when your mouth is painfully on fire, it’s hard to enjoy anything you’re eating. I had the flat fish. It was two fried fishies and seasoned simply – delicious. The brought that comes with a meal is also yummy. Ordered the mix grain rice but watching my carbs so didn’t eat it but took it home for a later time.

Strong contender in the local bibimbap and Korean bulgogi Field, the food here tastes fresh, and whereas they don’t have as wide a compliment of side dishes as some Korean places, they still have a nice selection. I ordered the bulgogi in the hot bowl, and everything was really good. I would give this a five-star review, except the cushions that people sit on in this restaurant need to be replaced ASAP. Their lumpy, have springs sticking out of them, and are overall, uncomfortable.

Lovely panchang (side dishes)! I ordered the spicy beef stew that comes with bean sprouts, shredded beef brisket, egg and glass noodles. This is a very traditional Korean dish that doesn’t seem to be very popular in the West Coast. If you want sample something new, try this dish!

Good korean meat. I was looking forward to me grilling the meat myself like they do in Korea, but they already serve it cooked. The kimchi rice is awesome!!! Highly recommend it! We ordered everything spicy so we can really feel the heat of the kimchi and chili. Very flavorful
