I really want to love this Place, but just ordered take out. The Wahoo Special was atrocious. It didn’t smell very good and was way overcooked. Had the Chicken Tacos. They sounded great on paper, but were truly awful. The corn tortillas were falling apart, which is acceptable for take out. Bit the tacos were super dry and really lacked flavor. On the positive side, the whipped ricotta was on point.

We’ve gone here many times since it became Bowman’s North. The dining room is nice if you want to have a great meal. The bar area is very casual and we sometimes end up there after dinner inside. Food is almost always excellent. They even elevated scrapple to a delicious appetizer (scrapple fries) that I’m still thinking about a week later! Good mix of casual food like burgers and fine entrees, something for everyone.

I HATE leaving bad reviews but it’s long awaited. I’ve ordered take out a few times. Some have been ok but most times it’s horrible. I ordered a ceasar salad, they are skimpy and I have found hair in my food twice. I ordered the beer cheese pretzels and no beer cheese. It came with the Mac and cheese sauce…gross. Try it if you haven’t, you may like it but every single time, they forget something or it’s really skimpy. This is the last time I’m eating here. I really wish I could like it.

Healthy side options were a bonus and I loved the broccoli rabe and Brussels with bacon. Relaxing ambiance with the stone fireplace and sofas in the main dining room. Prompt and pleasant service. Loved the unisex antique porcelain handwashing sink outside the bathrooms. Nice touch. Looking forward to going back for more! (Same ownership as Bowman’s Tavern in New Hope).
