Amazing burgers and customer service! The employees greeted us immediately and walked us through the menu. We got their signature burger and it was delicious!! The pattie is FULL of flavor. I think it’s the best burger I’ve ever eaten in Frederick! The fries and cheese fries were so good too. Their different flavored sodas are from a company I hadn’t heard of before and I was skeptical but they were actually so good! Tasted just as good as Fanta. The burger, fries, and drink were all for around $20 – very reasonably priced for such a high quality. I’ll definitely be coming here asap for another burger

Just had the Curry Up and Wait and it is one of the best burgers I’ve had in Frederick. The subtle kick of curry followed with the lemongrass lime mayo gives it a refreshing taste to clean your palate as you crunch down on that cabbage, each bite is a new experience.

i walked in and was met by the aroma of beef and the harmony of angelic harp music as if the heavens had descended upon me. and i haven’t even gotten to the food yet. you thought your dad could grill? he sucks compared to this. i can’t eat anything else anymore. i’m 10,000 in debt and 10,000 in pounds from eating every meal at THEE (?) boxcar place. all other food taste bland. the world has lost its color when i don’t have burger in my mouth.

Loved the food! They have a great brussel sprout dish. Their signature burger is delicious, and is unique. The staff is super friendly. Overall it’s a fresh take on a burger place, and I’d definitely return.

Do not sleep on this place. They have delicious grass-fed beef burgers, crispy fries, and the best Brussels sprouts! There are also options for those that don’t eat red meat, or those who don’t eat meat at all. The customer service is also top-notch. The guy at the front counter made recommendations and even came over to make sure I was completely in love with my food. Definitely stop in and try these awesome burgers for yourself.

Far and away the second best burger of my life and only a michellen star chef has made me better. Everyone else at the table stated it’s their top by a landslide. We can’t even eat burgers now, we’ve been ruined by these jerks! Do yourself a favor and go here, early and often, absolutely incredible.

Glad Boxcar built a brick and mortar location in Frederick. The same quality food and great service they provided on the food trailer at Idiom Brewing Co. carries over here. The Capital City Mambo Sprouts are an awesome appetizer. All thr burgers are great. I especially like the It’s Kind of a Big Dill burger which comes with fried pickles on it.
