If you want something that’s filling, tasty, casual, and affordable, this is definitely a great spot to hit. You get a good-sized portion for around $12 that’ll last you well into the night before you get hungry again. There are spice levels to the hot sauce you choose – I got the 4/5 “hot” option which wasn’t too spicy, but I’m also Asian and I eat spicy food all the time (might be pretty spicy if you’re white though)

I bet this is a must-try restaurant in Charlottesville. Absolutely amazing! The ingredients are very fresh. Especially the taste of the sauce goes very well with the meat. I almost fell in love with the food I eat. The staff were very friendly. In particular, the boss was so friendly that I wanted to see her every day. If you’re ever in Charlottesville, I’d highly recommend that you should have a meal here. I wish there was a restaurant like this in New York, where I live.

My cousin took me to this place to grab a quick meal. This place has a perfect setup with 7-8 tables inside and a couple of tables outside. It was very clean. We ordered chicken on rice with extra sauce and it was delicious. The sauces added a wonderful flavor. For the price, the food is worth it.

Tasty. I purchased the steak over rice and a can of coke for $11.00. A decent value especially if you compare it to a fast food combo. The. Steak was sliced fairly thin and seasoned well. The meal was very filling. I will absolutely revisit.

I was sooo ready to dive in, every time I ride past, I want to stop. So I finally stop by because you really can’t go wrong with chicken and rice…..so I thought. The rice was sooo dry that the sauce was not doing it justice! The salad was raw cabbage (I’m not opposed) but that too was dry and thickly cut, but it’s supposed to be a wet meal meaning (very saucy) meal. I was very disappointed with my $13 lunch meal. The service was good tho.

First of all, after covid, it was hard to find a meal that actually feels full and balanced well in good price, but this has such a reasonable price and food. Also its very nice that they have different types of meat and also a vegan one. I think it is good for a meal when you want a reasonable price and good quality food.
