I absolutely love this place! I’ve been coming here for over a year and I usually have the chicken but have tried the ribs and they are amazing also. The sides are all phenomenal and my favorites are the beans and mac and cheese or potato salad. Cornbread is also offered as a side but I always get it additional because it’s better than most desserts. Amazing place with amazing atmosphere and very nice wait staff.

This place was excellent. Our only issue was the Mac and Cheese was a bit watery and bland. The rest of the food was great. We started with the meatballs and those were amazing. We then shared the 3 meat platter with the chicken, brisket and baby back ribs. All were very tasty and the spicy, sweet and smoky sauces were all good. We added extra sides to get the cornbread, baked beans, spicy pickles and Mac and Cheese. These were also excellent except the Mac and Cheese. The server was very nice and the place has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The absolute best BBQ I’ve ever tasted. Half smoked chicken was amazing and extremely juicy and the Giant Loaded Potato the pulled pork with the cheese and baked potato was all mouth watering. The best and most tender BBQ ever tasted.

This was an amazing little place in downtown Council Bluffs IA. Me and a buddy wanted BBQ and found this place on google and boy did it not disappoint. From the moment we walked in everyone was polite. We were seated as soon as we walked in and was waited on the moment we sat down. Then the food was Absolutely to die for. Everything was cooked to perfection. Now I want to recognize our waitress personally. Regan was on the ball from the moment we sat down till we left made sure we had our drinks understood the whole menu and what we wanted and the moment my drink was almost empty she was there with a new cupful. I hope whoever runs it will convey my appreciation for her and best believe I will at least be back.

Our first time here and we will definitely be returning. Staff were very attentive and checked up on us to see how we were doing and to supply us with anything we needed often. Food was the best we’ve had in a long time. BBQ was spot on and their cornbread could rival any. My wife’s fish she said was the best she’s ever had. Drink choices were many and we had quick service. Building was beautiful, and we loved the atmosphere of old town Council Bluffs.
