Really good! Old Mill really needed a good restaurant like this. We were here for lunch. Had the Korean Chicken Bits and Cubano sandwich. Both were really good. At first, I thought the chicken bits were spendy as an appetizer, but they gave you SO much. We took it home as leftovers. Lavender lemonade was good and so was the Chai cardamom old fashioned. Nice spot to sit outside with your dog too!

Boxwood was so delightful!! A great cozy venue with delectable eats and tasty cocktails. I enjoyed the Pork Shank with the Burrata for an appetizer and both were incredibly delicious. Our server was very sweet and attentive. I would definitely recommend Boxwood to others in the area!!

It is both a good and bad thing that this place has a small menu. Although, The online one didn’t match what we were given when we were at the restaurant. Luckily, our group all found something but some of us were set on dishes we saw online when we scouted the place. The steak was not good. The trout was okay. The best things we enjoyed on the menu were the Brussels sprouts and the cheese appetizer. And this says something we the 4 of us are foodies. Overpriced for what it is but friendly staff and beautiful, open, airy layout inside or a small patio dining shaded for dinner but you’ll be staring at the parking lot.

A delicious and homey restaurant in Bend! Great quality but comfortable vibes. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top notch. My only critique is that the burger patty was super thin so it was really over done. Next time I would try something else but the flavors were all on point. Great wine and beer list too.

A fun place to come and enjoy some drinks and food. We sat at the counter area and had some drinks and snacks. The bartender was pretty cool and fun to chat with. We had the duck confirmed, Brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, and Korean fried chicken bites. The chicken bites were my favorite. We also enjoyed some Four Roses Single Barrel BP and McKenna 10 year.

Laid back environment, friendly staff. Most items on the menu were all $20 or more. I understand that for a meal but appetizers and deserts were near that price point as well. The burger was the best that I’ve had in Bend. My only critique would be lower priced appetizers and deserts and slightly larger portions. Over all a very positive experience. We plan on repeat business

We order the Korean Chicken bites, chicken schnitzel, boxwood burger, and dinner rolls. The dinner rolls were really good nice rosemary butter with fondue, only down side was there was only three rolls. The Korean chicken bite had great flavor but the chicken was beyond dry. The chicken schnitzel it’s self was delicious and well cooked . The veggies were cold. The box burger was cooked well and good flavor but served room temperature at best. I also don’t love the order at the counter style, no one checked on us to see if our food was good or if we needed anything.

I’m very disappointed. Our last experience here was wonderful, the food, the service, all of it. Well, this time, it was a completely different story. Poor service, had to order at the counter (pretty sure they were severely understaffed). Followed by a long wait for anything, the food came before the drinks we ordered.

The food is good. However, they’ve done away with table service, which they used to have, so you have to order from the counter. That includes refills of soft drinks as there are no free refills. There is no expectation of tip relief for this (the POS terminal defaults to 20%) and it’s pricey for counter ordering. ($34 for steak frites.) Until they bring back table service or drop prices accordingly, I think this will be our last visit.
