Had to take a trip to Bainbridge for business and we decided to have lunch at Boyd’s. It’s a counter service order restaurant with servers that deliver your food and check up on you for refreshed drinks. The pork was good – a little too mushy – but great flavor. My husband had a hamburger which was delicious with homemade french fries. The homemade pound cake tasted just like his grandmother’s- and he loved it.

Great atmosphere, great service and amazing BBQ. The pulled pork and smoked turkey were some of the best we’ve ever eaten. The sweet potato fries and Brunswick stew were excellent and our server Lillie was outstanding! We absolutely loved it and we will be back SOON!

Russell goes overboard on getting out large orders, used Boyd’s for family, church, and personal events. Always fresh and good and pick up time it’s ready. Always served great food eating in.

Called ahead for a pint of coleslaw and pint of chicken salad. When I arrived, aprox 10 minutes later as instructed, I was greated instantly and proceeded to pay my bill. After the formalities I stood to the side for approximately 15 minutes at which time I got the girls attention and as i shrugged my shoulders i mouthed the words, 15 minutes for 2 cups of salad and she immediately checked on it to findout that they were accidentally given to one of the local independent Food Couriers, which obviously get preferential treatment of the customers who are in there already. So 2 pints of salad took 30 minutes in the store and on top of that I called it in 10 minutes prior to my arrival. Also, there was just 1 party of 5 people that were actually finished and just sitting there socializing and 3 employees.

Boyds is always delicious. I got their chicken salad sandwich, toasted this time around. I will definitely order it again. They Alday have the best chicken and hamburgers! Can’t go wrong with any choice.

Great food if you’re looking for bbq. The restaurant itself isn’t very spacious but the atmosphere and team members are great! Their menu is strictly grill and bbq foods. Do not show up expecting a cheeseburger or chicken nuggets

One of the worst pulled pork sandwiches I have ever eaten. If you call yourself a BBQ restaurant, you better be sure the most basic BBQ food item is on point. I’ve never had pulled pork drowned in sauce that tasted that salty. I won’t be going back.
